Not easy to use.
As I mentioned, not easy to use. However, I am elderly so that may be why I feel this way.

Great For However Long It Lasts
I have a friend with long hair who has spinal problems. He can't reach normally. These, when he attaches them according to instructions, allow him to tie back his hair easily and quickly. He even fell asleep in one because of its' comfort. Good job.

Not as secure as I hoped, tangles into hair
While this concept is genius and the elastic doesn't graph/pull hair, the sliding gadget does grab hair and get tangled in curls leading to breakage of hair. Not secure enough for sports, but a loose hold of a curly ponytail with minimal crease seems fine. Not a daily go to like I hoped. Husband can't use it at all on daughter, so not easier than regular elastic ponytail holder.

Updated: no good
When I bought these like 6 months ago I said they held nice but were hard to remove and the dangling bits kind of obnoxious on a grown woman. I only used them a few times since then because they were such a pain in the ass. Last night I gave it ago once again and had trouble doing a bun instead of a ponytail on basic white chick hair, chin length.By the morning (as the other times I used it) my hair was hanging and matted in a knot around the band. I had just combed my hair before putting them in and most nights my hair doesnt generally get matted at all when up. Anyway this time was so bad between the band and the button I had to cut a thumb size of hair off just to free me.Frankly I'd return them if I could. Overpriced, not useful doing your own hair, and too much matting issues.

A WONDERFUL SOLUTION, FOR HAIR MANAGEMENT! :)
As a male, in my mid 50s, I've started getting bad arthritis, which is problematic for finite tasks. After having a close run-in with a cancer scare, which came back benign, I decided to grow my hair out, for cancer wig donations. I'm nearly there, just a couple more inches to go, before I can donate. In the meantime, putting my hair in a ponytail, for me, meant getting someone to do it, for me, at times. Sometimes, I'd get lucky, and get it right, but most often, it was fail, after fail. The third looping of a conventional elastic band would just be too much for me. LOL.Searching for an easy out, for ponytails, I found the Pulleez ponytail holders here, on Amazon.I initially thought these would be fails, as well, as there's only one loop of elastic involved.Turns out, the toggle is the key. It's actually quite easy to use. Just gather up the hair, pass it through the loop, and then hold the toggle buttons in, and cinch it up, to tighten. For men, who don't want the jewelry, at the ends, or the toggle showing, just put the Pulleez on, upside down, so the toggle, and jewelry beads are hidden, under the ponytail.I also though the jewelry beads would be felt on the neck, but I don't even notice them. If you don't like the beads clacking, when you turn your head, just adjust the Pulleez so the beads are one, over the other. I suppose, you could further hide the product, by looping the ends round the ponytail, and gently tying the bead ends, under the ponytail.A great solution! And to think it must've been inspired by those small tote bags, that use toggles, and string to close the bag with. Brilliant. Hats off, to the inventor!

Work great but a little pricey
I always find that regular hair elastics are never quite right. Two wraps and it is too loose, three wraps and it feels like it is pulling on the back of your head. These sliding ponytail holders let you adjust the elastic however tight or loose as you need it. They are pretty easy to put in and stay in place great one you get them in. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons: 1) they are pricey. For the price of 2, I could buy 20 or so regular hair elastics. Hopefully they last a lot longer than regular hair elastics so it offsets the price a bit and 2) I don't care for the way the dangling pieces sit. The elastics are firm enough that they don't flop down. It you put the clip above your pony tail, the dangling elastics stick up funny above your ponytail. If you rotate it underneath your pony tail, they dangle down straight on your neck and don't mix in with the ponytail. I end up leaving them off to one side

Very convenient
Easy to tighten and release. The best thing is that it's easy to remove since it doesn't get tangled in your hair
