Works great
I am tall(6’) older woman. Noticed I’m start to slouch and looking much older. This brace works very well. Others were saying it abrades under the armpit. Yes it does force you to put your shoulders back. And if you do, it’s comfortable. I think the idea is to improve posture. Putting shoulders back improves posture. My family and I have really noticed the difference. It’s doing what it promised to do. AND it’s made in the USA! Would recommend.

Pleased
I’ve used many things for my back mainly corsets and waist trainers (both vest style and regular) and will say this is a nice change, not as restrictive. Makes the armpits a little red but to be fair it’s hard to make a product that goes directly in the underarm region, continuously move, rub against your skin without the friction affecting you, it simply is what it is. Also when I put it on at first I didn’t separate the shoulder straps like in the picture, after doing so it no longer made my underarms red. It’s very soft and came stitched in certain parts, I was under the impression in was one long belt I’d have to figure out so I was very relieved. I read a review that it was too difficult to figure out and that it had no instructions but as you can see in the picture they were right under their vest. It even offers a video to watch in case you can’t figure it out.In the pictures I tried it on with different styles of shirt to make notice of how invisible it can be, the first lose shirt was completely unnoticeable, it did very well under the pink shirt and under the most fitted and transparent one was very noticeable, but not like a waist trainer or corset.I’m 5’3140lbAnd ordered size M

Excellent for poor shoulder posture
I am an Occupational Therapist who treats many patients with posture issues: rounded shoulders, shoulders that don't align with the ears, tight trapezoid muscles that cause the scapula and the clavicles to be out of alignment.... I typically recommend posture supports to be worn when my patient drives, works on the computer or any activity where they need to use their arms in front of them for more than 30 minutes. This posture support/brace stands apart from others and is much more effective because it offers 2 straps - one that is positioned over the clavicle and one that can be positioned over the shoulder - to provide additional support and pressure so that my patient's muscles are slightly stretched with the goal of restoring normal alignment and posture. The one issue I have with this product is that even though I ordered based on the size/measurements, it runs smaller than expected and I had to order one size larger. If you have shoulder/posture issues, I strongly recommend you consider this posture brace/support versus other options. It is important to only wear it for 1 hour when first using it, then slowly increase the time in increments of 30 minutes or so until you are able to comfortably wear it for the duration you need when you do activities that cause your shoulders to round forward.

Exceptional Neck and Shoulder Support
I spend several hours each day on my computer for work, and felt increasing neck and shoulder pain. I wanted something to help with my desk posture when I was seated. After complaining to a coworker about how my shoulders and neck were achy and sore, they recommended that I try a support to improve my posture. After a few months of using my Backembrace when on my computer, I've noticed less neck pain and my shoulders are feeling more solid at the end of the day. Usually, I'll wear it for a few hours each day and have seen good results.

Helpful when on properly
If I were to buy a posture corrector again, I wouldn’t get this one. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to get on. The straps are “adjustable,” but there’s no way to lock them in place, so I have to adjust it every time I wear it. It typically takes 3-4 tries to get it on properly and it’s quite the process. That being said, once it’s on - while generally uncomfortable - it does the job of pulling my shoulders down and back which is the ultimate goal for me.I got the smallest size and am about 120 pounds, 5 feet 7 inches with a small chest and rib cage. I maybe should have sized up because I have a long torso, but the smallest size fits fine when I’m sitting at my desk. Not so much while working out.

Abrades armpits.
This posture harness is comfortable for about 5 minutes then, it started chaffing the skin around my shoulders and armpits.. There is no way to avoid this as the straps wrap around the front of shoulders and under the armpits. I have skinny arms and shoulders and it digs into my flesh. I believe that this product would be uncomfortable for other body types. The very design of this harness is destined to abrade the users armpits. Ouch! I suppose you could wear this harness over your clothes but who wants to do that?

Awesome Product for a Desk Job
I work from home and sit at a computer, this has help me keep posture and avoid the slumping a desk job can make. I noticed a difference in my posture after only using a few days. I wear it while I clean, work and walk. It does rub under the armpits after longer wear, so I would recommend always putting over a long sleeved shirt or tshirt.

Standing Tall, Feeling Fine
The Upright Upsides:Comfortable Embrace: Unlike some correctors that feel like straightjackets, the BackEmbrace felt...well, embracing. Soft, comfortable, yet firm enough to hold me in place.Fashionably Invisible: I could wear it under my clothes without it screaming, "Hey, I'm here!" It's discreet enough to be worn throughout the day.Adjustable Assurance: Whether I was feeling a little slouchy or very hunched, the adjustability ensured I could find the perfect snugness.Wear and Forget: Initially, it reminded me to pull my shoulders back. Over time, it felt like a natural part of me, subtly nudging me into a good posture. The Straightened Snags:Break-in Period: The first few times did feel a bit unusual, as with any posture corrector. It's a sensation of being pulled back, but soon enough, my body started to appreciate it.Slight Sweats: On hotter days or during intense activities, the area beneath the corrector did get a bit warm.

Helpful for anyone with a seated job
My job requires me to sit all day in front of the computer. I was developing ongoing neck and back pain because of bad posture. I've started wearing the brace whenever I have a long stint in front of the computer and it's totally erased the pain I was feeling. The brace does put some pressure on your underarms and can be annoying after a while. I find myself regularly tugging at the brace in that area to "loosen" it.I find it most comfortable to wear on top of a close fitting T-shirt. I tried it right on my bare skin the first time but it became annoying quickly. It's black with little white flecks all over it so even if other can see it it's quite subtle. The brace itself is elastic and offers quite a wide range of adjustment to fit different body types and sizes.

Comfortable and very effective
I’m 42 and have had bad posture ever since I can remember but it was getting worse and I hated seeing myself hunched over in photos.I have tried a good few posture correctors over the years and never could stick with any of them because they always rubbed in the armpit area. I was hesitant to get this one as it is so expensive but I’m so glad I did. It’s super comfortable to wear as the elastic is soft. I also love that you can spread the two straps that go over your shoulder. I wouldn’t wear it over clothes though because it will scrunch up your shirt at the back and as a woman the strap that goes under your breasts at the front puts them in an awkward looking position when you wear over clothes. But for under clothes it is perfect! After a few days of wearing it for an hour or so a day I am already noticing the benefit as it’s reminding me to straighten my shoulders and back when I am not wearing it.Highly recommend this if you struggle with poor posture.

Is your phone ruining your posture? Try this.
Helped me fix my text neck, surprisingly comfortable, and easy to hide under dark shirts and tees. Make sure to use the chest measurement chart when selecting a size! I’m a women’s size 2-4 and I needed a M/L brace to accommodate my 32” chest

Effective
I found this company and their owner very good to deal with, even advising me to hold my purchase until it is available on Amazon (only 1-weeks wait), so that I can take advantage of the lower shipping rates - I live in Oz.I also found their recommended size suggestions accurate. I bought both the small and medium because I did not think I should have small but they were right. The medium now makes a nice gift :)

Not the Most Comfortable, but does positively affect your posture.
It is very hard to get used to, and very uncomfortable around the arm pit area, but I put some extra padding between the strap and my skin which helps quite a bit. After wearing for 2 - 3 hours, I have noticed that it does help my posture, and makes me more cognizant of where my shoulders are, which lasts for some time, even after I take it off.
