Quality is good and am very happy with the outcome. The installation was easy and it came with the necessary tools. ☺️Update: I've only had this cover on for maybe a month and the coloring is already starting to ware where I hold it the most. Luckily it's on the back but still, that seems way to soon to me.

Not the easiest for some people to instal because the controllers are made with small torques screws. The product looks very sleek and has a nice transparency to see some of the inner workings of the controller while maintaining a comfortable hold in the hand.

Absolutely perfect quality. No air bubbles in the paint, and its tough plastic. Not the cheap stuff on series x. Here's what you need to know. The included pry is flimsy. I used a flathead screwdriver. Just be gentle with wedging. The faceplate is easy to do. The button are hard. It will take a considerable amount of time if you're a novice like me. If your perfectly fine thumbstick, sticks after disassembly DON'T panick. It will likely work when you reassemble like mine did. Xbox series x and one x controllers are harder to unscrew than the one s. Those controllers have awkward bottom screw holes. This is not a race, so if you feel yourself losing patience, walk away. Don't try to foce things. I ended up scuffling one of the controllers trying to pry off the backing. Xbox series x was the hardest to pry off out of all 3 I did. All buttons set perfectly, just as the manufacturer had it. If yours doesn't, its defective. I've done 3 controllers with 0 issues. The end results are worth the hardship ahead. This is not easy as so many claim, but it isn't incredibly hard. It's somewhere in the middle depending on what you change. Button are hard, because you have to literally rebuild your own controller. The faceplate, thumb stick, and dpad are fairly simple. Hardest part is prying off the pieces. See my Xbox series x, one x project scorpio, and one s controllers in the pictures below! Best of luck. I contact the seller before my purchase since others were complaining about seeing the unpainted sections, seller assured me that they've improved theyre manufacturing process- and that's exactly so! Everything lines up like the original. Finish has a nice luster to it.

Extremerate makes high quality shell replacements for most controllers so I was not worried about the quality it comes with a tr9 screw driver for the screws needed to complete the replacement and also a pry tool which is also needed in the replacement process. Where I think they lose some points is selling from Amazon and Amazon being increasingly bad at package management if I was a 3rd party seller I would be pissed when one of my packages got lost in processing. That being said above the general random Amazon issues the shell fits pretty perfectly except around the edges on the back feel as if you changed out the controllers shell it seems like there is no avoiding this unless you get the perfect fit which this is close to. The controller feels smooth and the quality of the plastic is sound I feel as though I can use this controller for longer than before as before the controller only had the sort of grooved or fuzzy feeling plastic Microsoft uses and it bothered me a little to use. But all in all a good shell replacement and if you are looking for a nice quick project buy this and dig in.

This faceplate replacement fits tightly on the Xbox One X controller. I can't find any seams or fitment issues.This mod reduces controller weight (with batteries) from 278 grams down to 274 grams. If you are American and having trouble conceptualizing metric units, 278 grams is the weight of an Xbox One X controller. 274 grams is the weight of a slight lighter Xbox One X controller. You're welcome.If you weigh just the faceplates, the weight drops from 40 grams down to 36 grams.The orange screwdriver that comes with the kit was a Torx screwdriver and fit the included screws, but did not fit the original torx screws in the stock controller. I used a flathead screwdriver to remove the stock screws. The included spudger worked perfectly. Note: I see some other reviewers report that the screwdriver worked for them. Your mileage may vary.The color fade does not align perfectly on one side of the controller. See attached pictures. I actually bought the tools at the same time as the faceplate, but that was unnecessary as they included a couple of tools (screwdriver and plastic jimmy) as well as replacement screws in case you lose any.Faceplate itself is very soft and nice to the touch and the colour is great. Getting it on was pretty easy (found some instructions with images online although some are included) and it fits perfectly. Tempted to get the back plate as well now!

Okay, this is probably my fault, but I got the new shall for my XBOX ONE controller for Windows and it didn’t fit. Did I choose the wrong one? Maybe.Anyway after some modifications to the shell it worked out great.The problem was where the XBOX button is. The hole in the shell didn’t line up vertically and actually how a recess. There was no way it was going to fit. Rather than send it back, I altered it to fit. Cut some of the plastic off, sanded it. All went well in the end.Maybe best to double check that you choose the correct case for the controller.

Looked nothing like the picture, its more of a girly light purple rather than dark , mine arrived damaged but I didn't get another due to the colour, instead i bought another colour that was spot on. These fit great are easy to change and comes with new screws and the screwdriver to take your controller apart.

Love this product, don't waste money on the xbox design studio, this kit will give your controller a fresh look.I would recommend pairing it with a squid grip as it can be a little slippy.I didn't have a picture of this on it's own, but you can see from my other controllers I love modding xbox controllers.

Remember these are not a simple slide on slide off thing, youtubing a video on how to remove these would be a very good idea. If you know what you are doing its an easy job.
