Works perfect on 1999 Nissan Pathfinder / Infiniti QX4
Works just like it should. I was able to follow the factory service procedure of preload bearing torque and then set the final bearing load per the FSM. Would not have been possible without this tool.I had to pay close attention to the tool fit inside the bearing nut as it would slip out pretty easy - but this is not a fault of the tool, just a requirement with such a limited engagement surface.Overall, very pleased with this product. The price is high compared to other tools like this one elsewhere, but since I didn't have to get off the chair to get it to the shop, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

It works
Fits as should to 1/2 inch drive ratchet or torque wrench. Made of quality steel. The only complaint I have is that the 2 prongs or tabs that protrude on the end are really to short because when you go to torque the spindle nut,the socket slips easily out of the holes in the spindle nut.

Worked Great for 2001 Nissan Pathfinder
Worked great as intended for my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder wheel bearings. One thing to note, you really have to hold it tight against the spindle nut, as the studs on the tool aren’t very long, and will slip easily if you don’t hold it right. I was able to put a maximum of 75 ft-lbs on it on my own, without anyone else helping hold it in place. If being used for an R50 Nissan Pathfinder, be sude to preload the bearings to 75 ft-lbs, then, back off the spindle nut until it can be loosened by hand. Re-tighten the nut to 17 in-lbs, and screw on the retaining ring. This tool is crucial for doing so, as I tried to do so without it, and my bearings just didn’t stay tight enough for long.

Bearing Preload
Needed this to torque down the nut to 72ft lbs to set the bearings correctly. If you skip this step and “wing” it, you will more than likely have a wheel shimmy or vibration. Fit perfectly fine on my 2002 Frontier 4x4. Took the time to replace the bearings and races, rear seal, rotors, and pads. When using, make sure to apply even pressure and ENSURE it’s as flat as can be to the surface. If not, you risk breaking off the 2 prongs so take your time.

First Gen Nissan Xterra 1999-2004
Buy this socket to do your wheel bearings.

Works perfectly
Fits the Nissan Xterra (1st generation) 2000-2004 and equivalent Frontier. It may fit the second generation as well, but someone else would have to confirm that. It made it very easy to torque the thrust washer to +60 ft-lbs to ensure the bearing was seated properly. It is worth spending the $30 to have the right tool.

Couldnt find any online listed to fit this vehicle and this one confirmed DOES work

Works
While this tool works for its intended purposes enough to get by some improvements could be made. The odd rectangular ends of the pins would be much better round. I found it would fall/pop out of the spindle nut under pressure while torquing. Overall tho not bad bang for buck
