I was going to wait at least one week or more before writing a review as I read it can take 1-2 weeks to adjust, but after just two nights I feel like the review is necessary to complete asap.I have a degenerative spine disease that has been mainly affecting my neck for the last several years, and have not slept properly or been pain-free in about 2 years.After using a very expensive memory foam pillow for the past 2 years that definitely helped more than most, I was upset when my toddler managed to destroy it.. So I started researching pillows to find one specially for cervical pain issues. I really debated between this one and some similar brands, and ultimately chose the "queen" version of this because the material is a little more cool than others and I get so hot at night that I need as much relief as possible.. While I wish it was a little more cooling, it still breathes enough to be comfortable and so that I don't overheat.Despite it not being as cooling as I'd prefer, I can't give anything less than 5 stars because from the moment I laid on this pillow to go to sleep, I could immediately feel bloodflow going through my neck that I only seem to get from a massage or immediately after being adjusted by a chiropractor.The last two nights I have slept better than I have in years, not waking up at all through the night and also gave woken up in ZERO pain in the morning!!! I honestly didn't think it would be possible, and my upper vertebrae still move around during the day as they have for years but it's only mildly uncomfortable and not painful at all; I truly did not think I would get any true pain relief until possibly I have to get surgery, at most I was just looking for a better nights rest and not waking up countless times a night in excruciating pain- but I got so much more.For anyone with neck issues, I can't reccomend this enough and for those who haven't found relief I am truly sorry. I never expected this level of relief, and while it seems a little firmer than what I would normally "prefer" when I first lay down (before my neck issues became apparent I liked VERY soft pillows but learned a couple years ago they do way more damage than good for me)- within minutes my neck feels so good that I'm greatful in ways I can't describe. This is the first time in nearly 2 years I've slept well enough to dream, or to wake up well rested. This product definitely gets a 10/10 in my book.

This “cooling” pillow actually does keep me cool at night. It doesn’t actually feel cold to the touch, what it does though is NOT make me hot and sweaty while I am using it. I had ZERO success with that when I tried several other CPAP/neck relief pillows. With those I had to cover their pillow & case with one of my own pillow cases to try to cool it down.This pillow has a lovely smooth case that is comfortable to rest your face on and is tightly fit to the pillow (so no bunched up fabric to make marks on your face).It stays cool all night long and helps me TREMENDOUSLY in avoiding night sweats.It also has a good height and density, which makes it comfortable to sleep on when I am lying on my side. This is also the most comfortable pillow I have ever had for back sleeping.Due to nerve damage in my lower back I have been forced to become a back sleeper. This pillow cradles my head and the sloped portion keeps my neck relaxed and aligned all night long. I do not feel the need to reposition the pillow, to fluff it or raise it up, or to flip it over to find a cool spot.I have woken up once or twice with a stiff neck but I don’t think it is the fault of the pillow. Most likely I have shifted into an awkward position and been too sound asleep to notice.This is a solid choice if you are looking for a firm and cool pillow to ease your neck pain or to make sleeping with your CPAP machine comfortably.

Don't let the term cooling fool ya, this pillow is not a cooling gel pillow, and does not cool you if you're a hot sleeper. The pillowcase that came with it was like paper, and was uncomfortable: I took it off within 5 minutes of laying on it. The neck relief was so so at best, and not as good as my first cervical pillow. Overall, not worth the $50 price, and I still sweat when trying to sleep with it. Wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to stay cool at night.

I have back pain it keeps my neck from getting twisted

This pillow is odd looking, even uncomfortable looking, but oh, what a life saver it's been for me! I sleep sometimes on my back, sometimes on either side and this pillow is amazing in it's support and comfort. It might take you a couple of nights to get accustomed to it, but I slept like a baby the first time I used it. I am 66 years old and broke my back as a teen, have had problems with back and joint pain since. I have spent hundreds of dollars on many different pillows seeking to find relief, this is the best by far. I do use a silk pillowcase with it, since they are good for skin and hair, the standard size silk pillowcase with zipper fits perfectly on this. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing this amazing pillow.

I bought this pillow based on the reviews and realized when I got it that the company is offering a free pillowcase in exchange for a review.Maybe this pillow works for some people but in my experience, it made my neck pain much worse. I used it for about a week just to see if it would get better.I move around a lot in my sleep and found the different heights really aggravating. The lower side was too low and the high side was too high for me. I'm 5'3." Plus, my head kept ending up in between the indented space and the side sleeper place at a weird angle.I'm returning this pillow and do not recommend.

Pillow was expensive. $50! Arrived with No pillowcase as promised! Pillow cannot be machine washed, so it’s creepy for me to think about putting my head on it, also, the cover has a zipper but can’t be removed to wash! What’s the point? The button is sewed into the pillow so why have a zipper??
