925 Sterling Silver 1MM Box Chain Italian Necklace Lightweight Strong - Lobster Claw Clasp 16" - 36"

When I was searching for a chain, to use with a magnifier, I was sold when I saw the "lifetime guarantee" offered with this. And yes, unfortunately, I've already had to request a replacement. My cat, afraid of strangers, was being held so that I could get him inside. And when he saw a stranger right by the door, it was a struggle to get him inside. In the middle of that struggle, he managed to jerk the chain hard enough for it to break along the clasp link TO the chain. It broke, but a replacement is already speeding on it's way.I do want to clarify. The CHAIN didn't break, it was the small connector to attach the lobster clasp, that's what broke. The chain itself is beautify. I love the appearance of it. It's the perfect size to use with my magnifier, and I've been wearing it almost 24/7 since it came. It's very smooth, never snags on my clothing or my hands. It's strong, I've even worn it to bed without fear. If the cat hadn't been so panic'd, I think it would have even survived his struggles.I will admit, I'm sad that I have to return the original chain, once I receive my replacement. I think that I'd be able to find some use for it, since the main part is still perfectly fine. But I'm hoping that the company will be able to figure out a way to strengthen the connection from the chain to the clasp. Oh, the clasp, a lobster clasp, is so tiny and cute, but very sturdy in and of itself. It easily allowed me to thread the magnifier on through either end.

This chain came nicely packaged which surprised me! The chain design is simple and timeless. It feels sturdy and can hold any of my charms. I used to wear delicate chains but they broke so easily. Okay, so I’ve been a loyal amazon prime member for 5 years and this is by far the best jewelry purchase I’ve made on amazon.I bought this chain over a month ago, I have a 4 month old baby, who has been grabbing this bad boy ever since I put it on. He YANKS at it like a wild animal, and it is still hanging on strong!! I have showered with this thing, and it’s still beautifully shiny and sparkling.I’ve spent hundreds maybe even reaching $1,000 in jewelry purchases on amazon and nothing has exceeded my expectations more than this chain! Yes- how crazy is that!!I had purchased a small children’s cross pendant- But had trouble finding a chain to fit the tiny charm, it being 925 sterling silver & STAMPED, and for a decent price. This chain was the winner after a couple weeks of scoping amazon.I normally wear 20” chains but wanted to try a 22” and I’m happy I did. The clasp fit my tiny cross pendant but is still strong and sturdy. This sterling silver chain arrived in minimal packaging and was exactly what I wanted. The chain itself is great quality with the lobster claw clasp that holds it safe and secure on my neck. It is light and delicate to wear yet it is strong and not flimsy so it wont break easily. I am very pleased and will purchase another in a different size very soon. I think this chain at that price is an excellent value you won't find in retail stores.

I just received my order from DSS that I placed only two days ago. I eagerly opened the boxes, and viewed my new treasures. Last week a chain broke with a pendant that I have worn nearly daily since I got it 5 years ago in Hawaii. I couldn't stand the thought of not wearing it again, and so began my hunt for a new chain. I could have bought cheaper, but the reviews for DSS were so amazing and consistent. I decided that it was worth it to go with them. But, not only did I buy a chain for Hawaiian pendant, I also bought chains for 4 more pendants. I'm glad I did. I now have chains for a pendant that was my mother, a gemstone of mine that I haven't worn in years, and two gemstones a friend made for me. I'm already planning to wear what.All five chains were brilliant silver. And for the width and length, each felt very sturdy and exceedingly well made. Each pendant looks fantastic on the chain. And as others have said, each came packages individually in a box with cleaning instructions anti-tarnish spots, and a mini-cleaning kit. Since I ordered 5 at once, they didn't have give me 5 mini-kits, but they did anyways.If you need a chain for a special pendant, or a gift or just to wear as is, shop no further Designer Sterling Silver. Great chain

The chain is beautiful, and a really good thickness. I got the 24 once one and it’s great for larger pendants or wearing several pendants with it at once.

Box chains are always the sturdiest, and this one seems no exception. It's a beautiful chain with a nice clasp, and doesnt "eat" your hair like some other chains do. I ordered a 16 inch and it sits exactly how the diagram shows.

A beautiful, strong chain for a wonderful price, to replace a weaker chain my pendants came with. Those with long hair will tend to have their hair catch behind their neck, but that seems to be the case with every chain I wear.

The media could not be loaded. Mine never tarnished. I bought in June of 2020. My just broke when I accepted pulled my necklace the same time my collar got pulled. Anyhow, needing that replacement now. Seller says all information for replacement is in the papers received with necklace but it was just this business card, a jewelry cleaner wipe thing and a photocopied paper of instructions on how to get replacement which I lost long ago. Couldn't I just message from here on Amazon?

Was very happy with the chain and clasp. Came with a nice jewelry kit which has small zip-locks and anti-tarnish pads you can cut up and place with the chain for storage. Only wish was that it was a tad bit shorter, but that is a preference and not a criticism.
