Works SO Well
I have little aphids or fruit flies that love my house plants. I have tried making my own vinegar and white wine traps (with a little soap). My homemade traps have worked a little, but nothing like I have seen with these Sticky Pad traps! My vinegar/wine traps would catch maybe 50 in a month's time, but in ONE WEEK these Sticky Pad traps (I have only put out 6 so far) have caught over 200!!! I'm bored in quarantine so did actual I count them.

Worked when I did it the right way.
Teeny tiny little gnats (w/summer arriving) were fllying in my face at my computer screen and when i sat to eat in the kitchen. These only caught a total of two gnats Until I put them in the kitchen window (east facing) and the next morning it was covered with gnats and no more at computer or meals! Yay. Using them at my computer, at lamps, at led, and flourescent, no good.. Sunlight did the trick and it was shining through the yellow plastic and lighting it up. These are sticky on two sides, so I did not peel off the coated piece on one side since it was against the wiindow glass. I can use it as a second life for the trap.

Not what I hoped for
I put these in key areas: by the sink and by the trash can. We don't have a huge problem but I am trying to keep it from getting worse. Usually see a gnat fly out of the trash when we open it, or seems to be one flying near the garbage disposal no matter how much I clean it. After 2 days out of the 5 pieces I put out in problem areas I have seen one gnat stuck to one. His friends are still around, probably laughing their little gnatty evil laughter as they fly by his carcass. I am not super-impressed by the product so far. It also had no instructions, i finagled ways to stick it around with the weird arrow part, which has no sticky part. No holes to use a string, not sure if I was supposed to just slap them up with one of the big sticky sides. I will be buying other products for my thug gnats.

I’d suggest it
I went out of town for a week and forgot to throw out some apples. When I came home, gnats moved in and claimed my space for theirs! I tried the soap, vinegar and sugar water which did absolutely nothing. Then I tried the rotting fruit in a cup with plastic over the lid with a few holes poked into it. So this method only slightly worked. I saw these online and for $5, decided to give it a try! Soooo glad I did! I don’t have plants so I just stuck it in the failed “trap” I had made and it’s been working really well.I stuck one under my overhead cabinet and by the trash can by adhering one side to the surface. It didn’t like sticking to the trash can so it’s in the floor now but still getting gnat attention. If any fixes were needed I’d suggest they make the paper come off in opposite directions starting from the middle of the design. It starts from the bottom and with the shaping of the item, it tears and you have to struggle a bit with the sticky stuff to get the rest of the paper off. Mainly for me it was the butterfly that gave me fits.Over all, I’d recommend it.

Worked better than expected.
I used these sticky traps to take care of a fungus gnat infestation I had in my indoor potted plant garden. I had first tried vinegar traps, but those only worked so well, and the gnats were breeding faster than the traps would catch them. Within 24 hours, each of these traps had at least 20 gnats stuck to it. I used 6 traps throughout, and after a few weeks, I now have 100's of adult gnats stuck to them. The gnats are definitely attracted to the traps easily. I also used Mosquito Bits to control the larvae in the soil. Between the 2 methods, I have wiped out the infestation completely. The only complaint I have is that the protective wax paper can be difficult to remove and will rip, so you may have to take it off in pieces. Maybe a change in the shape of the traps would solve that issue. A minor grip, though.

Life savor
Wow I love this so so so much! I have been having issues with small black flies who have been breeding in my window moisture. I eliminated all food sources and plugged drains around the window but nothing seemed to help. I got one of those Raid apple traps but it only caught one fly over six days. I was getting irritated and frustrated. Ordered this quick and it came so fast! It’s a little difficult to remove the sticky part but once you get the hang of it it’s fine. It was so amazing at its job!! 5 flies in just 14 minutes!! I even managed to catch a few dash long legs too! I put them everywhere around the window and managed to catch over 30 flies in just a few more hours. Goodbye problems, hello life! Wish I had trusted these first!! BUY THEM!

These really work!
Love these traps! They seem to work great for gnats. After 5 minutes I already had several stuck on them. You can see in1st pic....that was just one trap! In about 12 hours that same trap was covered with them. As you can see I have a big problem! I advise being careful with new bags of potting soil, I was not aware that this could even happen. These traps are not as thin or flimsy as other reviews led me to believe they might be. They bend slightly, but I didn't have any problems with them. They may not work as well with fruit flies, but I knew that wasn't what I had.

Works great!
I knew I had little gnats flying around my houseplants on my sink window ledge, but I had NO IDEA there were so many until I put one of these sticky pads in each pot and watched as they caught more and more little gnats. I am still amazed at the amount of tiny flying bugs that were apparently living and breeding in my plants. They are cute shapes and I don't mind the sight of them sticking in my pots since they work so well.
