This exit sign was easy to install, has an extra "exit" sign cover. Lighting is accomplished by a row of small LED lights. So it should be quite power efficient. It has knock out chevrons for direction and a battery backup. Literally there are two screws, two wires, and plug in the battery backup wire to the circuit board and that is all there is to it. Once hooked to power it is quite bright. In short it works and is easy to install. Installation took me 10 minutes and I had never installed one before.

The Lithonia Lighting Quantum Red LED Exit Light w/ back up battery was exactly as described. The Unit was an easy install and easy to work with.

Great exit sign, easy to install in any direction. Plus I save on electric and maintenance costs. I would buy this sign again.

Bought the unit which costed $40 more because it had self testing. When I got it a week later, it did not have self testing. I just paid $80 for the standard unit which is costs $37. Also, the unit was about 5 years old. You could tell that because the design of the box was from 2018 and older. Also, the unit was used, or something like that. Clips were broken, the circuit board was damaged, and the battery did not work. Amazon said I could keep it and I'd just get a refund. I just threw it out.
