StrathmoreInkjet Watercolor Paper, 8.5x11 inches, 8 Sheets (115lb/245g) - Artist Paper for Adults and Students - Watercolors, Mixed Media, Markers and Art Journaling

This is a lovely, heavyweight paper with a nice cold-pressed watercolor paper texture. It is marketed for inkjet printers, not laser printers. I do not own an inkjet but I do own a nice color laserjet so I thought I'd give it a try. An inkjet printer would have gotten ink into the depressions of the texture and I have no doubt it would have looked great. On a laser the pigment did not get into the depressions and I ended up with lots of white spots everywhere. (See photo). I have to stress that this is NOT the paper or the seller's fault. I used it in a manner it was not intended and that's on me. I'm posting this just in case there's someone else out there who might be thinking about the same thing.

After printing my first test it was clear this paper does not perform. Although the weight and the texture are beautiful the details and true colors just don't show as they should, and at about $15 for 8 sheets its not worth it at all. Perhaps this would be a good paper for printing a photo to give a lighter watercolor affect, however if you're looking for a paper to print your watercolor paintings on I would not suggest it.

I would give this 5 stars because the paper works beautifully with my inkjet printer. However, the description of this product is 25 sheets of paper, and I received only 8 -- 1/3rd of my order. With taxes, I paid over over $15 for 8 sheets of paper. This is extremely over-priced, but it would have been an okay deal had I received what I ordered -- 25 sheets of paper. Amazon should review sellers' written descriptions closely, because not doing so doesn't bode well for the company or its customers.

Did not work at all for my Brother laser printer. I looked before at the reviews, and read that it can be used in laser printer. No!! Not only it jammed mine on the second run, but also the print (that the printer managed to leave on the sheet during the first try) was super easily smudged around and was not holding to the paper at all. The paper itself is OK, but not useful for my purpose.

I bought this to use in my inkjet printer. As my printer feeds from the back and is a straight through (does not need to bend the paper) I figured this would work as advertised. I was GREATLY disappointed. The printer can not even feed it through. Paper is way too thick. What a waste of money!

I don't know if it is my printer or not but this paper did not go well through my printer, so I got a print that was half on and half off the page. As I said in the headline, watercolor paper that can be bought from any art supply store worked better. And this Strathmore paper is very expensive for 8 sheets.

Excellent quality paper....I have so many great ideas for it.

Fabulous for printing off your favorite photos or art graphic.

Used with my Epson XP7100 printer to reproduce my watercolour illustrations and they turned out very clear and vibrant and I had no trouble with paper jams or anything else.I have done print tests and found that inkjet watercolour paper creates a better and more clear image, rather than normal artist watercolour paper. I recommend investing in this product or similar if you're looking to make high quality print of your watercolour art.Another thing I want to mention is that my print told me I had a paper jam when I first tried this paper. It was not jammed but rather was not able to feed the paper through to start printing. To remedy this was very easy! Just make sure there are enough sheets of paper in the cartridge, not just 1 or 2 sheets.
