The size (a bit smaller than a quarter) is perfect for my 2lb Yorkie’s peanut head. Granted it won’t hold all her fine hair at once, unless I use a rubber band and then clip it. In her pics I did asymmetrical pony tails. The bigger one with a band and clip, the smaller (less hair) with just the clip.It def does take some practice getting used to clipping it to where it looks good, at least for me. While I think her ponytails look good, I feel they could be better. As I keep playing with it, it does improve.It did come with a pack of rubber bands, which I appreciate, but won’t be using. Her hair is too fine and delicate. Regular rubber bands easily knot and rip her hair out. I use orthodontic bands and those easily remove and can be adjusted with very minimal to no damage at all.The quality is four stars for me since it seems the paint (a very thin coating) will eventually chip. But for the price point, not a huge deal for me since it’s to keep her hair out of her face while looking cute. I would recommend.

They're cute, and they're the perfect size for my dog that is maybe around 3-4 lbs. They're basically the quality of regular hair clips but a lot smaller. A little hard to get onto my dog, because of the fact they're small and my dog wiggles and doesn't like anything near her face at all. Doesn't seem to hold the hair much, so, to me, they're more like an accessory than for practical use for the hair. I feel that's important to note because I ordered these to hold her hair back neatly but that didn't happen. They added a bag of hair ties and a couple cute bows which was a really nice surprise because I wasn't expecting them. Even though the hair clips didn't really do what I wanted them for, I still like having them for my dog as an accessory, they're cute and from what I remember they shipped pretty quick, I think.

Yorkies have a lot of wisps of hair that falls out of there topknot while it's getting lobger. There are perfect.

I’m a dog groomer and I bought these for small dog grooms but they were actually too small to use on my little dogs and wouldn’t hold the hair

We love these they do better than the rubber bands that she just shakes her head and they fall right out. But even these with a little work, like say scrubbing her head on the couch or floor and pop out they come. No fault of the company. That is 100% the dog. But they help keep the hair out of her eyes, so as long as I’m diligent these will work, thanks!

totally worth the purchase! we tried other ones (that did not stay on) & these stay on.even thru her trying to shake them off, they stayed on. usually she doesn’t like anything in her hair, but she doesn’t mind these.Thank you, they are a lifesaver!
