I primarily purchased these larger sealable bags for making home made udon noodles. The noodle dough is kneaded by putting it into the centre of the bag and then treading on the bagged dough (between two tea towels). The dough has plenty of room to spread in these larger bags and the bags are more than tough enough to handle the process. The bags are also reusable so it’s even greater value. But it then occurred to me that the same principle of spreading food out in these bigger bags prior to freezing allows a much better use of freezer space and the ability to easily stack the bags in the freezer. All in all these are a real winner for me.

These sandwich bags are much larger than the usual standard size. Exactly as described and perfect for adding vegetables for freezing. They didn't leak and were very strong.

Bought to bag up meals whilst camping. Great as large enough to contain all ingredients for one meal.

These bags are cerainly large enough, however, I just have my doubts about their food use credentials as these just seem like normal zip bags. There's no white 'pad' to be able to write details about the contents as you'd expect a food/freezer bag to have, only the one sealing zip, not two as I normally expect for a food bag and they are horribly thin. Bottom line is that these seem to be normal zip bags being sold for food use. I'll be looking for something more trustworthy for food use, in the meantime these have gone into the office as they seem more appropriate for use there!
