I am a pediatric speech language pathologist who uses this books with several of my clients. Otto provides a great learning opportunity to work with younger kids on how to use the word "no" and the power and consequences that go along it. This book has remained on my bookshelf and gets pulled out at least once or twice a month.

Great for "No" Stage in Toddlers
Great book for the toddler "No" stage. Otto learns that saying no all the time can lead to unfortunate consequences. Very sweet story and toddler loves it.

Cute boom
Very cute book. My 20month old son LOVES the word NO and loves this book as well. I'm hoping it helps him learn that No is not the correct reponse. Hehe

Things work out better if you just try and say yes sometimes.
My daughter was going through a NO phase. In fact, it still ongoing, even now. So I decided to buy this book.It is a lovely book that teaches in a concise way that sometimes things work out better if you just say yes sometimes. My Daughter says yes now more than she has ever done, but that negative word still rears its head more times than I would prefer.Ahh the joys of parenthood. =)

A Fantastic Book for Toddlers!
We love this book! "No" is a very popular word for a toddler so reading about it in a book makes it all the more interesting for little people. Otto (the book's main character) learns to turn "No" into "Yes". A favourite tale for our bedtime routine.

My almost 3 year old wasn’t impressed
No! Na. Naaaah are all my little boys new favourite word & it’s all I hear. I thought this book would be useful but it’s been a miss to be honest. There’s not much story but the use of speech bubbles makes it very disjointed to follow & my boy said no! to reading it after we’d read it once. Object defeated.

Bueno
Muy buen libro, escrito en inglés pero fácil de traducir sobre la marcha, que muestra un claro reflejo de cómo son los niños en los llamados " terribles dos" por lo que se identifican mucho con el personaje de la historia y les encanta el cuento.
