Bear Guard - Boot and Leather Waterproofing - Beeswax and Bear Grease

These boots in the pic wasn't bought as waterproof, but they are now thanks to bear gaurd. I recommend allowing yourself 20-30 minutes application time and a good hair dryer. Apply, and warm with dryer till it soaks in the leather. It WILL soak in when it gets warm enough. I'm not sure of reapplication time spans, but if it's in the leather, I'm thinking it'll be a good while. It will darken your leather up somewhat. But a minimal trade-off in my opinion. Highly recommend this stuff. So much better than the mink oil I've used for so many years.

This is just as it is advertized. A real hearty protection. I wish that all sellers were as fast as Maine Outdoor Solutions. I had other items on the same order coming from closer locations and they were miserably slow.Great product!! I have leather boots as high as my knees and it hardly put a dent in the generous tin of Bear Guard. After treatment I went out same day, returned w/dry warm boots and feet.Ric E.

The boot water proofing works well. I wanted to go with beeswax and got bear grease too. I wasn't all that keen on the bear grease part, thinking about the bear that once owned and used the grease here, but it all works. So far so good.

I love this product and definitely will buy more of this boot protection. As far as i am concerned, it is the best boot protector amd i mean, i am a tree worker and i need good protection for my boots from rain. Excellent job on that part. What is good about it too is that you dont need a lot of it to cover your boots. If you follow the instructions at the back of the can, itwill last you quite some times. Overall, i highly recommend this product.

This stuff is amazing! I’d buy it again in a heartbeat! Boots stayed their original color and they’re waterproofed wonderfully!

From Rhode island this Maine concoction is the best thing my chippewa loggers and cold combat boots have ever seen my girls ariat riding boots also came out good I warmed this stuff up under my Russian tortoise's heat lamp and massaged it into all 3 pairs of boots by hand the other guy was rite its good for the hands too you'll love this boot grease water proof solutions if it's from Maine by god you'll love it you know it's quality and it works

Excellent product. I covered my work boots that I walk about 10 mile a day in through all types of weather here in Denver, CO and so far the boot treatment is holding up well. I read about it helping the hands too which I agree with.

Love this stuff. Heat up my boots and can with hair dryer, apply- and heat up boots again to allow product to soak in. Great water proofer and leather softener.
