There is a good selection of colors and once you have a color that does color your hair without it looking fake, you are all set. The hair salons have gotten very expensive and unless you are in the upper 1%, the purchase of this product will save you a lot of money.

It was a bit darker than I expected but it took, and did not was out one bit. Did not smell I think it is a good deal.

I'm relatively new to the hair-dying scene. But I've been pretty impressed with Ash Brown. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to apply. I just put a little vaseline around my hairline (so the dye doesn't get on the skin), then mix the solutions, shake it up, apply it, and 5-10 min later, I wash it out. And it stays nice-looking for about 3-4 weeks. But I can get away with probably 2 months before I need to reapply. It's just really easy to use. Once I did it once, I can do it myself start to finish in about 10 min. Results are great. Looks really nice. :)

I have used this product for 15 years and never had this problem before. My hair began to turn very dark almost black quite suddenly as I was shampooing the product into my hair. This happened with a 3-pack batch I bought from Amazon in July. It also happened with a 3-pack batch I bought from another online site in June. So, something changed with the formula, or else they produced a bad batch that was distributed during this time period. Both times I shampooed my hair repeatedly for over an hour in the shower and that helped some to lighten the color. Within 2 weeks my hair color began to lighten from repeated washing. I called the company, and the auto phone service said for hair going too dark, the next time I should only leave it in there for a minute. SO, the next time I quickly shampooed the product into my hair for less than a minute and then rushed into the shower to wash it out. It did not go nearly as dark this time, but still did not look like it normally does,Today I used a batch from a purchase long ago. Probably vintage 2023 as the serial number on the box had a 23 in it. It worked perfectly as usual. I noticed the bad batches all have 24 in the serial numbers printed on the top of the package.I see below in the reviews several people who also reported the same issue. Something must have changed with the product recently. I may try a lighter shade H-10 Sandy Blonde. I am afraid to use the H-15 Dark Blond/Lightest Brown now. If I do, I will have to be careful and only leave it in for like 30 seconds to a minute.I am not happy with this change. Hopefully it is just a bad batch from a manufacturing error. However, since it happened with two different 3-packpurchases, one in June and one in July, and both from different retailers I am concerned it is a permanent change.Be careful using this product, don't leave it in for very long and watch carefully for your hair turning too dark.

I have been using H25 light brown for decades - last batch I purchased has a reddish, fake looking tint which is unusual. Hope they correct.I see they are having issues with H15, surprisingly not seeing others mentioning H25 color issues.
