It has become so difficult to find a simple, well made flashlight which allows on to turn the thing ON and OFF by just clicking a button ONCE, not by cycling through five mostly useless functions.This is the light you are looking for. Not only is it a simple, plain, very well made, straightforward frigging flashlight, that will provide light for you instantly with ONE CLICK, the ON/OFF button is a large, very high quality push button on the END of the flashlight! This is a monumental improvement over the extraordinarily lame and failure prone sliding switches one finds on the barrel of many flashlights, and also a huge improvement over the push button switches that are sometimes on the barrel of a flashlight rather than the butt end as is the case with this lovely light.For anyone out there who needs a flashlight to be ready in an instant to provide very bright light in a nice wide beam, this beautiful tool is a no brainer. With ANY of the mostly useless multi function flashlights, you never have the option of simply turning on the regular beam by pressing or sliding a switch once. Not even close. Often one must press the button several times to get to the normal beam, and then press it a couple more times to cycle it back to OFF! This is not only absurd and potentially even dangerous in an emergency situation, but by definition it MUST decrease the life of the tool by a factor of FIVE, simply because the one and only operating button will fail five times faster than one that only requires one click to operate the light.Beyond this all important feature of having a nice, very visible, high quality red button on the END of the light (the best location!), this light is also just overall very high quality, especially for the price. Nice solid body with some weight to it, excellent beam size and quality (very bright - in fact the best and brightest flashlight I've ever owned), and the efficiency is phenomenal! The lights operate on one 3.7 volt rechargeable battery. I charged up the batteries I bought once when I first got them, including a pair of backup batteries. Today, after months of use, I removed the battery from each flashlight and tested it with a voltmeter. After fairly extensive use, each battery had gone down from 4.0 volts to only 3.89 and 3.86 volts! I was going to swap out the backup batteries and recharge these two, but they still have so much of a charge it's not necessary yet!That kind of performance is as good as you can ask for at any price, it really is. And with the beautiful, reliable, easy ON/OFF switch, you simply cannot go wrong with these lights. I had bought a pair of some other brand which were of the "have fun cycling through the modes five times each and every time you wish to use this tool" variety, and they were "on sale" for "only" $40! Twice the price of these awesome lights for absolute JUNK that wouldn't get you out of the dark and into the light in any kind of quick, easy and reliable way!These flashlights are so good I am definitely going to buy a second pair, to have four lights total. At $10 a pop, it is a fantastic deal and you are actually getting what you need in a flashlight!

A good, basic, quality flashlight. Nice and bright with an adjustable beam and a simple on/off switch. Battery life is good. I didn't need flashlights with 4-5-6 different modes. On and off. Very good value for the price!

These are great! First, they are single function. That was very important to me, when I need a flashlight, I need a flashlight, not a strobe, not low power, a nice bright light...perfect!! They are bright as well, not a glow, a super bright light with a zoom/wide angle function...perfect again!! Well made, heavy duty case, wrist strap and pocket/belt clip. I would absolutely buy these again.

I use these for camping. The batteries last about 2 months and they are very bright.

Not only is this a great, very bright flashlight with ONE mode (no endless cycling through "modes" when all you want to do is turn the flashlight on!), but when one of the flashlights received malfunctioned (would not turn off), the company sent a free replacement immediately, without me having to return the malfunctioning one.

Exactly what I wanted, I've gone through 2 different other flashlights, more expensive than this (and like most people, I don't relish throwing money away). In both instances the root cause of the failure was a broken switch, it stands to reason, having to cycle through different light modes is quite a lot of wear and tear on the switch, and it's no wonder the switch would fail. So before I wasted any more money, I asked myself what did I really need, and my answer was this: fairly rugged - an accidental drop on the floor should be survivable. Just a simple on / off switch , and a zoom feature from flood light to spot light - That's it. I don't need a strobe feature, S.O.S light mode, power saving dimable feature etc.Update: 1 year later and both are still working like champs. 1 in my toolbox at work (A machine shop and fairly rough enviroment to subject a flashlight) and 1 around the house, both have survived falls - the one at work has been bumped into machinery, and bounced right off concrete floors. I am still very satisfied with my purchaseThe only improvement I would wish for would be to move the on / off switch from the tail to a button located on the side of the housing.Sept 12, 2023. I have had both of these flashlights for sometime now, one I use at work daily, and the other around the house. Both have [And still do] work perfectly. This has turned out to be an extraordinary good buy, the simple on off switch has never faulted on either unit, and I have time and again reminded myself that I am so glad don't have to endlessly cycle through different lighting modes, I honestly think that this is one of it's best selling points. So far both lights have been rock solid in performance, when I need them they work.Update 9-29-24, both lights still going strong - as bright as ever. I am very pleased, this has turned out to be an excellent buy.

I love the simplicity of just an on and off button without having to go through a bunch of stupid modes nobody really needs. Just turn it on and zoom it in if you want, then turn it off with one click. Also the quality of the light and the zoom are very good. I also like the small size, it's comfortable in your pocket. The durability quality seems excellent, I think it will pass the test of time. The only thing that would improve it, is if the on/off button was next to the zoom slide instead of at the rear of the flashlight.

These are better than many flashlights requiring fewer button presses to turn on and off. Chinese manufactures don't seem to understand what people actually want?
