It definitely works!
Alright, so I watched a few YouTube videos on how to use the curlformers and I highly suggest you to do the same if you’re thinking about buying it. It helped me to get the hang of it faster. I used overnight and it was pretty uncomfortable to sleep with, I woke up in the middle of the night with a lot of pain in my scalp. I also applied the formers close to my scalp so next time I’ll try a bit further way and see how it goes. Around 3am I woke up and decided to remove all of them and when I woke up in the morning I still had beautiful curls ( a little bit flatter compared to when I just removed the curl formers but still really nice).A little bit of context about my hair: I always had curly hair my whole life but I have been using relaxers for the past 8 years (last time I relaxed I overprocessed it and a lot of hair fell out. I’m on the transition phase where my roots are curly and the ends are straight so the curlformers are doing an amazing job, and I haven’t had my hair looking this nice in years).I’m soooo happy with the results and I already ordered the waveformers as well and I can’t wait to try them. It took me around 40 minutes to put all of them but I think it was worth it!

Cute but uncomfortable
There is a bit of a learning curve to putting these in. Once you get the hang of it it goes quicker. Not comfortable to sleep in and they fall in your face. I recommend holding them out of your face with a shirt or something. The curls are really great though. Usually worth the uncomfort for the result.

The same issues as the wavy set.
I got this set and the wavy set. I was hoping for a softer product, so sleeping would be easier, they were a little more pliable, but still ridged, plastic mesh with silicone ends like the wavy set. I liked the fact that these were easy to put in by yourself, they would be easier if someone else was doing it for you, though. I started by spraying clean hair with water and putting product through my hair to help the process. I sectioned my hair out, making sure they were 1 inch sections. The application process went smoothly, with a some issues with the hair tangling up and not wanting to pull through the curler, I just took it off and started again. After completing the installation process, I covered my head with a scarf and went to bed after I took some ibuprofen.Sleeping with these on was not comfortable, but they were more comfortable than the wavy set. I didn't wake up as much as I did when I tried the wavy set, but I still had to wake up to adjust to try to get comfortable.I most likely will not use these again, if I do, it would be a weekend thing, I would install them in the morning for a night on the town. Same as the wavy set, they were a waste of money for me.

Save yourself the trouble and discomfort
Got these for Christmas from a well-meaning gift giver and was excited. I've been looking for good no heat curlers for ages. These are not them! Im convinced these curlers were invented as a an ancient torture device, haha! This product was so difficult and painful to use, they are not intuitive at all, they are picky (won't work unless you have the exact right amount of hair at the exact amount of dampness), and took 2 hours to do my whole head. After all the tugging, tangling, and sore feet from standing in front of my bathroom mirror for so long, the 42 curlers weren't enough to do all of my hair! I still had a good pony-tail size amount to go!If you have thick/long hair (mine is only shoulder length but very thick) you will need more than one package. I gave the curlers 1 star bc they did curl my hair to a degree. However, curls were not tight and only lasted the day. After a night of sleep, bye bye curls. Speaking of sleep, there's no way in Heaven I could sleep in these. They are heavy, pulling the weight of my hair on my scalp, and thick unforgiving plastic made it impossible to find my head a comfortable position.Basically, to me, this product is horrible waste of time and plastic and I will be re-gifting them to someone with very short thin hair, a harder head, and a much longer thread of patience.

Didn't think they would work as well as they do!
So we bought these to try out on my daughter, because she sometimes wants curls but hates sitting for the curling iron for a long period of time and not getting the results she is looking for. We have done a perm before but it also didn't turn out the way she envisioned it. These did exactly what she wanted nice big spiral curls! She loves it!They do have a learning curve to them sometimes the hair goes through them easily other times it gets caught and you have to start over so that is a pain, but it is well worth it in the end.She does find them a little uncomfortable to sleep in, but not so bad she can't sleep. Her hair was wet when I put them in the curlers and by morning dry and curly. I have not tried them on dry hair at all.I bought 2 different sizes. The smallest ones for my daughter's hair and the longest ones for my hair. I have not tried it on myself yet.

It didn't do much for my hair
Didn't curl my hair, though it's very easy to use. But my hair doesn't do anything it's supposed to anyways.

Looks crazy but works
At first, it was confusing on how this works and I didn’t get the hang of it until the 5th one BUT once I got going, it went fast. Also, it helps to have the hair slightly damp, not fresh out of the shower. I did a trial run with this to see how it worked and how long before I needed actual curls for an event. It took me about 30-40 minutes to do waste length hair. I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND to use small sections. My larger sections at the bottom didn’t dry within the hour I left them on and there was no curl. I know when I go to actually do them to see results, I will use a hair dryer and much smaller sections. Just be patient with using the plastic tool since you only have 2 to work with. I had no issues removing them from my daughter’s hair. The curls that did dry thoroughly, looked amazing. I had plenty of the 7” long ribbon/pieces so I would love to use some on my chest length hair too. Totally worth the price point!!!!
