I'm not sure how well this will work once our chciks are full grown, but at 3 1/2 weeks, they like it! It can still comfortably fit 3 of them; I have seen 4, but it's getting to be a tight squeeze... I put it in the brooder at about 2 weeks and they took to it quickly. Easy to put together and seems to be well made!

At about 3 weeks of age, I decided to get our chicks a perch. This one is made in the USA, had high ratings and was reasonable, so I picked it. It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. The chicks loved it, but they quickly outgrew it and went for the higher perches instead, so I took it out to give them floor space. Once they move into the outside pen, I'll put it back and see if they use it again. Otherwise, it will be great with young chicks every time we get new hatches. I don't regret buying it, but I do regret not getting it sooner. lol

Bought this for our first set of chicks. They are only a little over a week old and they already showed signs of wanting to perch on things. I was going to wait to put this in the big brooder when I moved the girls in there but decided to see if they wanted to use it now. This was super easy to put together and really sturdy. I’ll be buying another one for the big brooder.

Love this, so do our girls. This was easy to assemble and very sturdy once all screwed together. I will be ordering another one because its not wide enough for 4 fat fluffy butts...

Got this for day old chicks. They loved it. Easy to put together, well constructed. Only complaint is that it’s hard to clean. I found that soaking it and then using a putty knife to scrap the poop off worked best.

Much better build quality than I was expecting, however there were a fewer marks from not having padding during shipment, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. The chickens won’t mind though. Sturdy, easy to assemble, and the bars are a good size for chickens of a range of ages. It is longer than I expected so it doesn’t fit in the brooder box I have, but it’s fine for outside

I bought this to replace one we had from a couple years ago. The bars on this are smooth and have a nice shape for chicken feet. I would say it's too small for any chicken above a certain age. The bars would just be too small for an adult to be really comfortable on. I have this in a brooder, and anticipate they will go outside about 10-12 weeks.

***Update***Contacted seller and they are shipping the hardware to me. Great customer service in resolving the problem. Thank you.Would have given 5 stars but the item came without the hardware to assemble it. The packaging was open at one end so I will assume the hardware slipped out somewhere along it journey.Was easy enough to use some wood screws we had on hand to assemble and the chick's really love it. As it is one of the only ones I can find on Amazon with squared roosting poles, which are better for the chicken's feet than round ones, I will be buying again for my new set of chick's.
