Best book ever!
Review from 9 year old daughter - This book is awesome. It was the first time I couldn’t put a book series down because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next! Lots of twists and turns, with a good ending! Wish another Seraphina book was coming out! Now I am looking forward to visiting Biltmore in North Carolina someday :)

Great read!!
This is the 4th in the Serafina series, & I really loved this one. There was an animal death unfortunately, but not as bad on page as others in his Willa books have been-so that’s something I guess lol. As far as the story & characters, all still so amazing. I love these characters so much, & how far they have all come together, & come themselves as individuals. Serafina is getting older, & her internal struggles & feelings are a sign of that in a way, among others things. I loved the mystery of this one, & was actually blown away when the “culprit” was revealed-mind blowing. The authors take on the darker parts of human nature, & hunting, etc. in this were all so incredibly written & thought provoking. Was sad to only see Gidean briefly in this 1, but he & Braeden still have my heart. The ending had me in all the feels. Loved it. Don’t know if there are more Serafina books to come, but I hope so. Though, if he keeps the animal death thing up in his books, I might have to ask someone else who reads them 1st before I do. Other than that, I really love this series. Another BEAUTIFUL cover by Alexander Jansson too.💜

This book is suspenseful and quick paced.
Serafina and the Seven Stars is going to be another success. It has already been named to Barnes and Noble Hot Summer Book List and Publishers Weekly Noteworthy Novel Sequel for July 2019. Serafina and the Seven Stars returns us to Biltmore Estates with some of our favorite characters. Mr. and Mrs. Vanderbilt, baby Nell, Essie Mae, Pa and others. There are new characters to root for too.“Now tranquility has returned to Biltmore. But Serafina doesn’t like it.” Mr. Vanderbilt tells Braeden the time has come for him to continue his education at a boarding school in New York. Serafina hears something coming so she crouches down out of sight behind a railing. Rolling up to the front doors are 13 carriages of gentlemen, gentlewomen and a girl of about 14 years of age arriving for the Annual Fall Hunt.“How do you say goodbye? she wondered and how do you live after you have? Nothing seems right without Braeden beside her. Mr. Vanderbilt has asked Serafina to move upstairs to keep an eye on the guests. The more she watches the more unsure of her instincts she becomes. As protector of Biltmore and the guests she has to make some gut wrenching decisions. I could not even imagine where the events would lead to. I had to re-read the book to get details that I missed the first time because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

Excellent Book!
I have loved this series since the beginning. And this book is an excellent addition to the first three. I always worry about getting involved in books that are in a series because I am afraid that they won’t be as good as the book that sucked me in; I had nothing to worry about here. This book continues the excellence of the first three with a story that is just as compelling as the first three. After three significant battles for the safety of Biltmore in the first three books, Serafina finds herself anxiously bored with life in the house now that things have seemingly gone back to normal. As the protector of the Biltmore house and its residents, Serafina finds herself on the lookout for trouble, but this time she is facing the unknown without the help of Braeden at her side; her best friend and most trusted companion has been sent away to boarding school hundreds of miles away. When dark forces return to Biltmore this time, it is the stuff of nightmares (I have always thought gargoyles were creepy). No one is safe, and the danger is literally in every nook and cranny of this magnificent home.An unexpected and exciting addition to the first three books, this one left me wanting more. My students are already asking me about this one and when they will get to read it. I can’t wait to have this on the shelf when school starts back in the fall. I have no doubt that it will be just as popular as the first three are.

Felt a bit unnecessary
The primary story of this series was wrapped up in three books. This felt like an add-on story in the series’ universe, but didn’t feel necessary for the overall arc.

The guardian of Biltmore returns in the latest adventure from Robert Beatty.
I found the Serafina series just before visiting the Biltmore for the first time, with each new adventure from Robert Beatty I am magically transported back to the Great Smokey Mountains of Ashville, North Carolina and the magnificent Biltmore house. I'm shifted into a perfectly blended world of reality and magic. This book is my new favorite in the series, as soon as I finished it I couldn't wait to read it again! While reading "Seven Stars" I was excited, scared, sad, and happy as the story took me up and down a magical mountain adventure, I didn't want the story to end! After overturning the powers of the Black Cloak and Twisted Staff and mending a Splintered Heart peace has come to Biltmore. But Serafina, ever watchful, senses that something is coming, the quiet is just the calm before the storm. When a force stronger than anything Serafina and Braeden have faced before is released, it takes persistence, bravery, wit and friendship to push through the challenges they and their new friends face in "Serafina and the Seven Stars" to come out on the other side.If you love history and mystery you'll love this book! It also brings a flare of astrology and mythology that will mystify you.One of my favorite moments in the book is a brief moment between Serafina and her Pa, and the ending...❤️ I don't know when the next adventure for Serafina begins but I'm already counting the days.

Great for kids getting into novels
Bought all the books in this series. Including the Willa and the Dark Wood which cones after. I got these thinking I'd get my graphic novel obsessed daughter (12yrs old) into reading them with me before bed. We did that one night and she was hooked. Read the rest on her own. Lots of words she didnt understsnd, but we worked through those. They are a little dark tho, so be warned. My kids like that stuff tho. So we will keep buying this authors books!
