Clean Dezign Bamboo Fiber Bread Box Bin with Cutting Board Lid (Natural White)

It's nice and roomy! I can fit four mini loaves in it nicely. The bread does stay pretty moist in there and hasn't dried out, although it is eaten so fast so it is only in there for a day or two. I like the cutting board top. Makes slicing the bread so much easier. I just flip the top and cut away, then put the bread right back in there (I keep the bread knife in the sheath in there too) Crumbs fall into the grooves of the cutting surface and then fall right back into the box. No mess, no clean up.I also like that it is made of a very light bamboo fiber. I don't think I would have been happy with a tin box.Over all I'm glad I made this purchase and would recommend to a friend without hesitation.NOTE: It does take up a lot of space on the counter. Make sure you check out the measurements

We are very happy with this bread box! We make a couple loaves of bread each week and thought it would be helpful to have something better to keep it in than the baking pan. The box is a little larger than others I've seen and that's what we wanted because our breads tend to be wider than standard loaves and we wanted room to work while cutting it and such. Our breads fit perfectly with room to give and it's so helpful to have the cutting board there so that we don't have to dirty a cutting board or clean off the counter. We're actually using it upside down with the cutting board on the bottom and the box on the top so that we don't have to take the loaf out when we cut it. We usually just cut the bread when we're going to eat it so that's very helpful to us that we can just remove the lid and cut what's needed. Our knife fits in there too so we can just leave it for convenience. Keep in mind it's not air tight, meaning that it doesn't snap or have vents, but it fits very well against the two pieces and a little air flow is good so we've not had any problems with our bread drying out. It works out well that it doesn't snap because if you're in and out of there a lot, it's much easier to remove a resting item than a connected one. Additionally it seems well made and looks nice sitting out. I'm thinking of getting a second one and would certainly recommend to those who make homemade breads!

Okay, so to begin with I was a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to it but the product arrived broken Even though the package it arrived in was fine. I returned the item. Diana from clean design shipped me a new one for free!! The breadbox is beautiful and matches my other bamboo cutting boards and kitchen cabinets perfectly. I'm all about earthy, natural materials and I love this breadbox. It's big enough for a store bought bread+ room for a few packs of burger buns. I bake in a breadman and the bread fits in t well. I had bread in it for a week without a plastic bag and it stayed fresh! Good stuff. You won't be disappointed.

You know... I read the dimensions for this product but I have pretty terrible spacial understanding and I just did not realize how BIG it was going to be. I bake a lot of bread and don't like having to use plastic bags to hold my loaves. I try to reuse the bags but they're unsightly and I just wanted a more environmentally friendly option. I was hoping for a container that would be about the size of a loaf of bread and that would fit nicely on the small counter in my kitchen, while looking nice. Well, this is big enough for about 2 small loaves of bread! It is quite literally HUGE. Beautiful design. The materials are nice. It's just big.

We love our bread box and use it all the time. We bake fresh bread weekly and it's nice to have a place to store it and cut it all in one. We love that the lid is a nice bamboo quality and doubles as a cutting board. Everything is easy to clean and fits nicely on the counter top. Only downside is that it holds a store bought loaf just fine, but our baked loafs have to be cut down or in half to make the lid fit as they are just a little too tall no matter which way we lay them for the lid to sit properly.

The box is great and the cutting board is great. Only problem is that it's a little too small to hold a loaf of bread made in our Sunbeam machine. I won't dock a star, since that's no fault of the product, but something to be aware of. We still brought this with us to Thanksgiving at our friends, along with a couple wrapped home-made loaves, and the cutting board worked great for slicing with my electric knife. After dinner, the partial loaves of course fit with room for some other leftovers. I have some parbaked French bread in the freezer and this box should fit those great. For the average user, we put some store bought sourdough in the box and it stayed fresh and delicious until we ate it all. We live in a dry climate and usually have to refrigerate our bread...not any more!

It should be taller. It does not fit a standard size bread machine loaf (1.5 to 2 pound size) from my beloved Zojirushi. Zojirushi BB-CEC20 Home Bakery Supreme 2-Pound-Loaf Breadmaker, Black  I tried turning the loaf on its side - nope, still won't fit.If they made this in a more standard size, it would work well. The cutting board is handy. Rolls stay fresh for several days, so it is nearly airtight.

The first thing I noticed was how nice it looked. It's not an eyesore. I like the quality as well. I could easily fit two loaves of bread from bread machines in it. Muffins, cookies, rolls, breads, etc.-- they'll all fit perfectly. I rubbed mineral oil over the top when I first got it. The only regret I have is that I let family stay at my house over the summer while we were away on our sailboat. When I got back, I noticed someone had used the top for a cutting board, putting scratches on it. Ugh! I hadn't even used it at that time. So if you let others stay at your house, hide it so they won't think it's a cutting board. Oh, and for my pics, don't mind the color of my bread. I grind my own wheat, so there's no white flour in them.
