Ordered two queen sized covers and they arrived the next day. Been through hundreds of reviews and product names trying to find a proper cover that ZIPS and boy it does. It is easy to slip on, though with limited space it took three hands to do one and two to slip the other on, but that was mostly because of the mattresses themselves and the rooms they were in. Easily slipped up and zipped up with ease once the bed was secured at the end of the cover (the 3 way zipping was an excellent idea). Completely sealed, not even air can get in, or out, of the cover. Had an air bubble, but that is easily fixed. The zipper is sturdy and I am impressed by how it is made to seal for all around protection, down to the velcro "lock" at the end. The material itself is comfortable, soft and makes little to no noise. It is waterPROOF. A lot of covers say waterproof, but are lamely resistant to liquids; this one, however, lives up to its claim so far. Bought them, and going to be buying 3 more for twin beds, because we spent a year fighting the bed bug epidemic last winter and now that we have new mattresses that we have been burning up in (plastic is still on them) because we were terrified of another outbreak and mattresses are far from cheap- it is time to put protective covers on. We also wanted a completely waterproof cover because we have one cat that is unimpressed with new objects and smells and with a new bed in a room that has never had a bed, we needed to protect it from cat pee. My matteress is still like brand new and I think this was the perfect cover to keep it that way. Will update should there be any changes, though I do not anticipate any issues.

I've bought this product twice now. The first worked great until my cat was trapped in the room and the "waterproof" feature was put to the test. The pee soaked right through and I had to throw the mattress away. Now I have a new mattress and I've again settled on this cover because most of the mattress covers around are horrible and made from horrible material and this one is very comfortable, and I feel safe with the materials, I've just accepted that it is useless as far as liquids are concerned. Still, I'd like to keep dust and bugs off the mattress if possible. The problem is after a single wash, in lukewarm water - on gentle - and air dried per the instructions, a large hole has been created where the seam is, rendering its protection useless. The only way to get a refund is if I return it but I imagine they'll just trash it and put more unnecessary plastic into some landfill when besides the large hole it's still in "good" condition. I'll try sewing where the hole formed and find some other use for it but for nearly $30 it feels like a waste of money. Still looking for a decent mattress cover.....

The mattress cover that came with my nectar mattress was too hot and really flimsy so I bought this encasement. It’s SO much cooler now and this thing has serious protection. I accidentally fell asleep with a ballpoint pen and the ink leaked out all over the place and got on everything BUT did not make it through the protector. I was able to wash it twice and get all the ink out. Since the material is waterproof it dries fast too.

This is the fourth one of these that I've purchased, and they're all still like new. I originally used them to protect my dogs' beds. I liked them so much that I bought more to use on two people-mattresses.My dogs have beds cut from a memory foam mattress. I put the mattresses in the zippered case and can then make their beds with regular bed sheets. The waterproof cases never even seem to get noticeably dirty or hold an odor. I have not yet had to wash the cases. For clean up, I can change the sheets and either sweep, shake, or brush off the muddy crumbs from the mattress cover.The dogs and their sharp claws and muddy feet have wrestling sessions on their beds, and still, the mattress covers have held up perfectly. They are still intact. No holes, tears, stretching, etc.Both the twin and the queen fit perfectly on the respective sized mattresses.If I ever need another one, I would definitely buy it again.

its 7 weeks now since our purchase when the mattress encasement was put on, and has not been taken off ever since. Its waterproof technique is not plastic vinyl its sort of a membrane coating, its breathable comfortable to sleep on, and does not have a crinkly feel. What made me get this L'Cozee Brand was because the large 3 sided zipper looked so easy to get it on/off with just one person. Its hidden tight teeth zipper serve the purpose blocking bed bugs to enter or escape. Its zipper closure has a triple shield technique that makes it impossible for zipper slider to move back so it holds it tightly to the end which blocks off entry way to any bed bugs to enter or escape. I highly recommend this product.

So far so good. The item arrived as promised; although, in the description I believe it says that the zipper starts at one end and goes all the way around the edge of the mattress to the end on the opposite side. It actually starts at about the middle of the long edge of the mattress and stops in the middle of the opposite side. That made it a little more difficult to apply the cover to the mattress by myself but not so difficult as to give it a poor review. They should probably update the description. If it unzipped all the way around three edges, it could be placed open on the floor and the mattress could easily be set lengthwise in the center and zipped around. Aside from that, the quality seemed good, and it's much more comfortable than pvc.
