Pretty cobalt glass, but small
As others have mentioned this butter dis is small, and butter will likely get on the top when removing or replacing the lid. It has a great retro pressed glass look. Mine arrived with two tiny chips on the rim, but not so big it would cut you. I love cobalt blue glass so am okay with these issues, but three stars only.

I'd buy again.
I ordered the cobalt blue butter dish with matching butter glass cover set, which I'd order again.My prior set, I accidently broke the butter glass cover and was unable to order just that item.All's good, the large cobalt blue salt & pepper set fit nicely on the butter tray.

It's a little smaller than I thought it would be.

It's exactly what I wanted
It's beautiful and just what I wanted, however, it's narrower than I would like. Each time I take the cover off or put it on I manage to get butter all over the sides. I wish it were wider.

Nice butter dish for the money.
The first time I ordered this butter dish, it arrived broken. I was worried about the sturdiness, but was pleasantly surprised when I received the replacement, which only took two days. It also looks nice!I would recommend this butter dish.

Great butter dish!
One of the best things I like about this butter dish is that it is compact enough for me to get my small hand around so I don’t drop it when I move it. Other butter dishes have been a pain to hold. Of course I love the color and vintage design.
