Very good product, H&D makes really good stuff, I have several of their products. But I wish this one was larger. I wanted straps for a bedroll, but this item will only fit a wool blanket. I’ll still keep it for my household wool blanket, but I just really want a jumbo version of this, for an entire bedroll setup. I guess two belts will have to do, which is fine.

Total waste of money, to thin and will not last, very stretchy also, strapped it tight to my backpack with my wool blanket and was constantly having to stop and tighten it up, holes for the pin on the buckle have already stretched so much that it won’t stay buckled, don’t waste your money on this

I'd recently purchased a big wool blanket to use for traveling and while neatly folded it was easy enough to carry it wasn't exactly convenient when I had an arm full of other things. This perfectly solved that issue. Giving a way to not only secure the blanket from unfolding (and giving enough room for a sheet or a smaller blanket to be rolled up with it) and then to add a handle too is just perfect for what I need. I've bought a lot of Hide & Drink products over the years and this appears to be just as good a quality as the rest of them.

Using this with my wool blanket to strap to backpack. Not heavy duty, straps are thin enough to not add weight but strong enough to hold and not loosen or worry about breaking from regular use.

The leather is good quality, the buckles are a joke. It's a shame the hardware used is such poor quality. I went ahead and purchased two bedroll straps from Frost River Outfitters after seeing the poor quality of the buckles on this item.
