Arrived in great condition! Mine were rubber soles. Yes, they are difficult to get on. I own a shoe horn because I only wear slip ons (steel toe slip ons are the worst!!) and these seem to be an issue of getting broke in. I’ve only had them a few days and if it doesn’t improve I may cut part of the elastic on the tongue. (I’m not about to travel with a shoe horn for some summer slip-ons!) The elastic is very wide and double stitched, so it won’t affect the longevity of the shoe too much. These shoes are well made!I have no complaints about the toe box or seam issues. I do have moderately wide feet, which can be accommodated by sizing up half a size. I purchased a 9 instead of my usual 8.5 and love them!!These are flat shoes with no arch support. As someone with flat feet, we his is exactly what I was looking for and have been comfortable running around in them so far.I would like to share that the color has a slight brown/khaki hue to the grey… beautiful color, just caught me off guard and wanted to share.Update: I ended up cutting the elastic and it hasn’t effected the fit of the shoe, but now I can put them on with only minimal coaxing (no shoe horn). I took these to a girls weekend in Vegas where we walked literally all day and I had the happiest feet!! This prompted me to buy a second pair because the first lasted about 4 months with heavy abuse/lots of summer beach time. I should note that “good” shoes usually only last about 6 months for me because I wear the heck out of all shoes!! While these took my abuse, I needed to have moderately appropriate shoes for work that aren’t falling apart. I took a chance an ordered a second pair.Second pair of shoes- had the fuzz still on the sole. It is a bit slippery on hardwood floors and other slidey surfaces like our walk in freezer at work. After a day or two of intentional scuffing the bottoms on gravel and sand, nothing major, they were good to go. I also cut the elastic immediately upon opening. Worked great! I am on my feet all day at work and I will definitely be ordering more of these as long as the price is on point!

I bought the Blowfish Malibu Play shoes for my daughter, and she absolutely loves them! They’re super comfortable, easy to slip on, and the design is cute and casual, perfect for everyday wear. She’s been pairing them with everything from jeans to dresses. The quality is great, and they’ve held up well with regular use. Definitely her new go-to shoes for any occasion!

Fits well and comfortable

I read the reviews and waffled on buying these. I wear a size 10 in every shoe I own, and my foot is pretty much average width, trending to the narrower side of normal. Thought I’d try them as a replacement for the S. Oliver’s I got in Ireland and can’t find here (BEST. CANVAS. SNEAKER. EVER!!!!). Here are my thoughts:COLORI ordered black. These are, technically, black. Technically. But the color is such a washed out shade that wearing them with black leggings makes the shoe look off—almost worn out given the intentionally frayed fabric edges. They’re okay with jeans, but I hesitate to pair them with a true black anything (shirt, skirt, pants, shorts, etc.).FITYeah…NOT a true 10. I recently had my left hip replaced so I have a long shoe horn to help me get sneakers on (except my beloved Kiziks which I now wear almost exclusively). If I didn’t have the shoe horn and the benefit of some flexibility regained over 2 months of physical therapy, these wouldn’t go on. Period. They are SUPER snug. I’m hoping they’ll stretch with frequent wearing. If they don’t? I’ll be putting them up for sale with full disclosure on the fit. The heel is snug, and I like that they don’t slip. But the toe box isn’t truly rounded so my toes are squished together like little polished sardines! LOL Despite the more pointed toe, they don’t really make my foot look long. That’s a plus but one that won’t qualify if it turns out I can’t wear them.QUALITYThey seem well made overall. The fraying fabric gives them a worn look as noted above. The one thing that surprised me was the tread. The bottoms are seriously slick on hardwood floors and tile right out of the box. I went out and scuffed them up some on the driveway, but I think it’s going to take a few seatings before they aren’t so slick.OVERALLI’m not thrilled with them. I ordered a white pair before these arrived, and I’m 95% sure I’ll be returning them without opening the box. I’m just not sure they’re the right canvas sneaker for me given that I’m not positive I’ll be able to comfortably wear them.Hope this helps!

I love blowfish slip-ons. These are cute, comfy and will wear long. Ive had mult. shoes in this brand and they wear great and last long. Perfect for independence day!!!

So cute and I’m bummed I had to return these as they run narrow, but I still love the brand. If your foot is more on the medium or wide side, you may want to try their Maddox style.
