Very good instrument.
It was good out of the box. The seller put a lot of attention in this instrument. The box arrived with no dents and the guitar came inside a padded bag and cover in white foam protective bag. The guitar finish is of high gloss and quality. The guitar tune up took only 5 minutes and the relief is spot on. There is a clean no frets buzzing sound. I recommend this guitar from this seller. I have no complaints. This instrument is worth the money. The guitar strings are very soft to my hands and that's good for me to play for hours. One thing I like of this guitar over other guitars is that the fretboard is of natural wood and is what I want to have in a classical guitar. The top is of laminated wood, but the sound is good, and a laminated top can resist changes in temperature better than a solid top. It has bindings in the front or top and the back. The fretboard has bindings, and the fretboard is made for professionals. The frets do not cut the hands as you move the hands through the neck up and down. The neck has a two-way truss rod, and they included the Allen key.

Surprisingly good!
I really like this guitar. I’ve been playing regular steel-string acoustic and electric for over 20 years and my wife got me this classical guitar about a year ago (late review, I know) because I’d been listening to a lot of flamenco and rumba. It’s surprisingly good! Does it feel or sound like an $800 guitar? No, but it doesn’t cost $800. I play it all the time and I think it’s a great instrument for the price.

Good student/practice guitar -- with added effort, it can be made to sound much better
For context and background..From a mid-50s player of 45+ years.. with some formal classical training, and having owned a plethora of guitars (electric, classical [including handbuilt, solid wood classicals] and some more 'modest' guitars) over the years..Beauty/Aesthetics: 9/10Playability: 8/10Sound/Tone/Projection: 7/10Sound by component qualities:*(with new carbon trebles and a few refinements)Sustain -- 9/10*Top-end Response: 7/10Low-end Response: 8/10Mids Response: 8/10Stock, out of the box, it is a fairly 'mid-rangey' sounding guitar. With new strings andrefinements, the top-end can be accentuated making it much brighter with better projection.Nice features:Good quality wood/materials (neck, fingerboard, bridge, top [spruce laminate], back/sides [mahogany laminate] etc)Fretboard bindingGraphite saddle and nutAdjustable truss rodWish list for future builds:* A little more attention to frets* Thinner poly finish would be desirableNow for a personal testimonial:I ordered this via Amazon on March 10. It arrived (via UPS) on March 14. I unboxed, tuned it up and began to give it the usual evaluation and setup I would give any new guitar. Everything *seemed* fine at first, but after a full day had passed I noticed that two of the back braces had been cracked and one (the lower bout 'waist') brace was separated from the back for about 50% of it's length (the damage appeared to have been done by shipper -- not the factory). At about this same time, Adam from Hola! instruments sent a customer follow-up email. I replied to Adam and explained about the broken back braces; but at the same time, I told him I liked the guitar and thought I would probably keep it. I told him I could pretty easily glue the braces to the back of the body ok (which I did). For my time and trouble, he was generous enough to send me a new set of D'addario carbon treble strings. He was very responsive to my concerns and acted quickly on them. I highly recommend carbon treble strings on this guitar. They bring out a much brighter and 'cleaner' tone for the e,b,g strings. (I use D'addario set EJ46FF)I'll be looking for an even better Hola! 2.0 classical guitar in the future. If you're an experienced player and have setup an acoustic guitar previously, you will find this a little gem to work and play on.

I can't praise this guitar enough!!!!
I can't praise this guitar enough!!!! Sound, volume, tone, weight and appearance are extraordinary. Boxing seemed risky but right out of box was already stringed and in tune and my amateur musician jumped for joy as I could play guitar again in my retirement. My Old Yamaha was soooodifficult to play due to hard string action and resulting pain in my fingers. This was like silky butter for my fingering. I have a surgical anomaly on my L index finger that makes C and F almost impossibly painful....now it is a breeze with minimal buzz. CAN YOU TELL I LOVE THIS GUITAR!Thank you Hola. HOLAY!UPDATE 12/7/2019: So enjoyed this guitar for 3 years now and stand by my first review. It is like a mellow expression of my soul when playing. Mind you I am essentially a balladeer and the classical folk sound suits my baritone timber and this Hola guitar helps me sound better than I probably do. If you want a pleasant smooth sound with umph when needed this is your answer at a price point that is atonishing still. I tried 3 other expensive online guitars before I chose my Hola. Also bought a 3/4 version for travel and composing etc as it was just easier to handle and I can say I am just as pleased. The 3/4 sound is 3/4 sound and when capoing above 3rd fret not as pleasing a sound ( a bit ukelel- like) So again ... Thank you Hola. HOLAY!UPDATE: another year has passed and I ditto my above opinions. Still love this little gem of a guitar and use it daiy for my composition efforts atmy desk (takes up less room) .Thanks HOLA!

My first classical guitar! Having lots of fun to play on!
This is my first classical guitar as I grew tired of attempting nylon on a steel string setup. I took the risk of selecting a low price point for starters. Past guitar instructors of mine have always said that the technique you play with determines the quality of sound an instrument makes…with tweaks on your approach. In a nutshell, it does the job I expect and is rich in sound. I cannot provide an opinion on what it would be from a performance end, but would suppose with the right conditions it would do well. All that I’ve done is use it for practicing 2-3 hours/night. D’Addario folk strings are my choice for right now. I would definitely recommend for beginners
