Got these for the two bedrooms that are front facing in our house. Our obnoxious neighbor spends roughly 65 hours a week mowing his lawn/snowblowing (as seasonally appropriate) - he was even outside scrabbling around with a shovel while it was rain/sleet/snowing, coming down super fast this past winter.Anyway, this guy has no sense of what is appropriate on a weekend, and likes to start with his mower pretty early on both weekend mornings (seriously - it goes on until dark most days - the riding mower, then a push mower, then the riding again, then a leaf blower (regardless of season - the leaf blower goes), then the riding a 2nd time, and back to the push, and on and on and on and on.)These curtains don't block everything, but they have done a better job of blocking the incessant drone of suburban hell that is our neighborhood. I got them in 84" length to help block more light. They do a wonderful job of blocking more light than shorter unlined curtains. The added bonus is that they seem to block a bit more sound than the older 72" unlined curtains.

Very pleased with these blackout curtains. The cream color is very light , was hoping It would be a little darker in color . They have a black lined backing and definitely keeps light out ! Great quality. Sooo happy with these ! Great price !

I originally ordered the cream curtains. They arrived and were extremely white. It just did not work in our bedroom. I did admire the quality so I returned them and ordered aqua the same day. These curtains are great! My husband works a rotating night shift and these help him sleep during the day. The only light coming in is at the top of the curtain and that is due to the placement of our valance.I included a picture of the curtains open and blinds open, curtains closed and blinds open and curtains & blinds closed. I ordered these during a flash sale and am now bummed the limit was one! These are Amazing black out curtains!!! The material is soft and very nice quality. They were more heavy duty than i expected them to be which is ok. This window gets the afternoon sun and heat... no more inside my room though! With me working nights, it’ll be much easier to sleep during the day. And it’s 2 panels!! I just ordered another set for the other window. Recommend these 5 stars isn’t enough for this one.

I purchased this product for a couple of reasons. We recently moved into a new house and there is no door at the top of the stairs leading to the lower level, nor is there one at the bottom. Now the way the stairway is done there is no good way to actually mount a door at the top and no way period at the bottom. I have a surround system connected to my TV in the lower level, so if I am watching anything the sound shoots right up the stairway. Second reason is that the heat (I live in Minnesota) also shoots up the stairway and the lower level is often a bit on the cool side because of it. Hense the need for something at the bottom of the stairs, and I chose this curtain. The is actuall two panels so I just doubled them up, which is probably a good thing. These work great to keep the heat downstairs (seriously, if the curtains are open I swear I can feel a slight breeze), and they do help with the sound also. Now, you should'nt expect anything close to soundproof, but it does knock it down some.My bigger issue was the condition. When I pulled the curtains out of the plastic packaging and stretched them out I noticed some cut type damaging to one of the curtains. It was not cut all the way through but the material was damaged. I looked at the packaging and there was a slice at the bottom of the plastic. The product was in the box on it's side, which is where I opened the box so it could not have been done on opening the box. Also, there were dirt marks in places, like the curtains were allowed to touch a dirty floor or surface when they were being folded. At this point I will throw in a free plug for Simple Green and their product called Crystal. Pretty sure this will take out the dirt marks, and this is the greatest cleaner I have ever came across. From a guy who managed an industrial warehouse where making the customers product look great after install, this is saying a lot. Moving forward, I am keeping the curtains mostly because of where they are mounted, as it is not like they are in the living room. These curtains are had some good wrinkles in them, but hey, they are folded up into a tight plastic so that would be expected. I used my hand steamer on them to make them acceptable, but I imagine I could iron them if I need them perfect. Overall, the curtains are fine for what I was expecting but normally I would send them back for the condition in which they were received.

Keeps the chilly air from entering the bedroom! By chilly, I just tested my curtains - its 50 degrees between the curtains and the windows; its 62 in the rest of the bedroom.Buying four sets of these curtains/drapes was a very good decision! Thank you Yakamok! Sounds like someone needs new windows (35+ years old) Who wants to make a donation for this cause???!!! LOL

The way our home is positioned we get a lot of natural light during the day and some of the glare from the night lights in our neighborhood even with the blinds closed. I put them up yesterday. Well, usually my internal clock and daylight has me up at 630 am like clockwork. Today I woke up at 9:27 a.m! I will have to truly have an alarm not to sleep the day away!!!!!This curtains are amazing, thick, sturdy, conceal a great deal of noise. I am so happy with our purchase. I bought the Navy (sons room), white (master), burgundy red (guest room), and I will be adding another set for our movie room since they work so darn well.They have the sorcery of hotel blinds without the price tag. Mind blown!!!

Estoy haciendo un home studio las quería para tapar ventana y puerta, al principio no sabía si me iba a funcionar y no creía que fueran del tamaño que yo requería; Sin embargo, quedaron a la perfección sirvieron para bloquear los pequeños espacios en donde salía el ruido logré bajar al menos 2 decibeles aunque lo que buscaba más es que no entrara ruido del exterior lo cual logré sin problema. Estoy pensando en comprar un par adicional.
