Great watch!
I've been looking to get an orient watch for a few years just always bought something else. I was looking at the blue seiko snz809? I liked the dial layout but no hacking/handwinding so I looked at orient and this one has those features plus unlike seiko I get asked all the time "that's a good looking watch what is it?" Plus the seiko movement has a very wide variable for accuracy the orient is very accurate one sec fast per day for a week!👍 I also saw on a watch blog that orient and seiko started a price increase across Thier lines which is understandable when you buy one, they are great high quality time pieces at great prices. So if your thinking of getting a new watch you can't go wrong with orient! This seller has been stellar!

No issues working very well

Keeps accurate time!
The watch is a bit large and the band a bit too long for my small wrist (6 3/4") but I'm still very happy with the purchase. A very elegant looking watch that keeps great time. It's running about 4 seconds fast per day - not too bad for a mechanical watch.

Most accurate automatic I own
I purchased this watch over two years ago. I have a number of automatics with various Pearl and Seiko movements. This Orient outperforms them all by a wide margin in terms of accuracy. (It loses no more than 2 seconds per month--yes, month, not day.) Power reserve is about as good--maybe 40 hours--but I keep mine on a watch winder when I'm not wearing it. Movement is manual/auto winding and has full hacking. Orient makes their own movements, if that means anything to you.The watch is handsome, easy to read, has fantastic greenish tint lume (not BGW9, but still good), and the day/date complication is a favorite of mine. It has a display case back, showing off the movement. It's not a gorgeous movement by any stretch, but the auto-winder rotor is embellished, so you have that going for you. The dark blue face has a noticeable sunburst effect which looks great in the light. The crown appears to be stamped with the Orient logo...a nice touch. The case is brush finished almost all over--just a bit of polish around the edge of the bezel and in-between the lugs. Crown guard is more than adequate and does not get in the way of hand-winding. This is also the thinnest automatic I own. I think it comes in between 12-13 mm. Very flat on the wrist.Flat mineral crystal with no AR coating. Mine has held up exceptionally well after two years.A few nits to mention, but not show-stoppers.1) The band that comes with the watch is not very good. With a 22mm lug width, that's a cheap and easy fix. I got a mesh (Milanese) band with a deployment clasp for about 10 bucks. Tt really improves the look of the watch over the stock band.2) The case is stainless steel, but it scuffs easier than any of my other stainless steel watches. It's not as noticeable since it's a brushed finish, but you can't really use PolyWatch to get the scuffs out, either.3) Only 50m of water resistance and no screw-down crown. You can get it wet when washing the dishes or your car, but no showering or swimming, for sure.4) The second hand has no embellishments and is very thin. It practically disappears in low light and has no lume on it. It's almost as if it isn't there. If you want an accurate automatic that isn't a diver, easy to read, great lume, and attractive on the wrist, this is the watch you want. You cannot beat this watch at it's price point. Even some Chinese homage automatics that cost more are not this good in terms of accuracy. (Sorry Seiko...the NH34/35/36 movements are good, but Orient crushes them all in terms of accuracy.)

Looks great, accuracy not quite there
Edit - not a sapphire, just some mineral crystal, already has scratches with rather careful office wear. Not accurate, as in worse than a cheap Invicta (!!). Not worth it; there are better made, more accurate, and cheaper ali**** watches. Big disappointment in Orient.
