This book is an amazing resource for parents and therapists that are helping children that have experienced trauma. The characters are funny and the artwork is beautiful.

I have been on the test team for review a few of the chapters of this book! I am a mother of 8 adopted children and my kids love the stories and descriptions in the chapters. The characters really come to life. I am a previous social worker and the activities in the chapters would have been so great to do with clients. I enjoyed doing them with my kids (ages 2-11). I highly recommend this book for children from hard places as it gives them the space to be able to discuss their feelings and a guide to help them be able to do that!
