This what is needed for dyeing anything leather. They work really good.

In case you don't read the whole thing: I definitely recommend these. These wool daubers work great but require a little work to get started. I've successfully applied both Fiebings Leather Dye and Fiebings Acrylic Resolene with desired results but only after testing on some scrap leather first. The only problem with this product is that the wool has small fibers that stick off and out from the main ball. These end up pulling off as they are dragged across your surface. Once you're done you find a few. This it less of a problem with dye as you can just pull them off but they get stuck in the Resolene. I found that giving them a quick hit with a lighter took care of the strays. Don't go too crazy though. Once you have a clean dauber the dye/finish really does spread nice and even.The best part is being able to get these on amazon and delivered right to your door. Often I'll go somewhere like hobby lobby and if I'm lucky there's one bag; usually none. I have found though that if you're looking to be thrifty or need them right away, they do hold up fine to a wash or two.Don't get me wrong, I still recommend that you purchase the Leather Factory brand. Any wool daubers are going to have stray fibers but I think with just a little work these could be a perfect product.

Always good to have extras when you are dying project bags! I used these when I was mixing dyes for custom colors, and I don't want to use the ones that come with the individual dyes. They work well, are just like the ones that come with the fiebings leather dye, and get the job done. They help get the dye on smoothly, and help minimize mess from the dye. They do drip a lot, so make sure you protect your work surface (I use large trash bags), The price was great too, and Prime shipping is just the best.

I purchased these as a gag gift for my husband and didn't realize that he actually uses them. He was so happy to get them, and wanted to know where I got them from. Well Tandy Leather is one of his favorite stores, but Amazon is mine! He uses these to color leather and with Parkinson's Disease, these have been well received and used by him.

I like using daubbers to apply shoe dye as opposed to using sponges

Holds dye well and does not have fibers fall off while dying leather. I was happy with these and will keep ordering when needed.
