Keeps food warm all day

I read a lot of reviews from different products before deciding to buy this one. I initially had looked at Thermos (which is cheaper and has more colors/designs available). What made me go for this one is that the lid doesn't trap any food and that it seems to be a quality product that would last longer.I usually remove the lid gasket every time I wash it to avoid letting it get dirty/smelly. The price is higher than other food jars but so far I am very satisfied with it and I think is worth the price difference. I hope I can use it for several years.Pros:-Easy to clean, doesn't get any food trapped in the lid-Food stays warm for several hours-The lid is easy to open due to its designCons:-Price on the high end-Not a lot of colors available-I couldn't find the company sells a lid replacement

Ok, so I searched many Healthy options (only stainless steel touching the food) with heat retention and ease of opening(soft plastic around lid and they should have put that at the bottom ALSO ! ) along with widest mouth. It passed ALL the categories except "wide mouth" . It does not have a wide mouth. Other healthy options with (Actual)wide mouth are ONLY Bruntmore and LunchBots. But then these were not easy to open, Bruntmore was still good but didnt want to take chances. But the food stays HOT for long time ! <3PLus I wanted something with a LOT LESS capacity for my Toddler's lunch and snack box, but these are TOO BIG for that purpose, other 2 were smaller, & I LOVED their Wide mouths !So ONLY if YumBox could make Real wide mouth with smaller capacity, I would have given it 5 Stars.And PLEASE PLEASE make Insulated Lunch box with 2 "EQUAL" tiers (unlike other who make 2nd container TINY ugh.... ) without ANY Plastic lid etc used! We need those badly(of course in much bigger size than this one) for putting Rotis/Praunthas in 1 container and Stew/veggies in another for Complete Lunch and 2nd little container for just warm snack.Make it fast pls!Thanks for making this great piece, God Bless! <3EDIT :- I am happy with the width of mouth and size. This is our second thermos this school year and it's great. The first (not this brand) was, by comparison, rubbish. My six year old is able to open this one by himself and close it tight enough that it doesn't leak all over his lunch box. The mouth is wide enough, compared to the cavity, that he can easily eat straight out of it and it's not so deep that he can't get his eating utensil to the bottom. The rubber seal comes off for thorough cleaning and there aren't any weird extra features that you can't get into and clean. Our last one had a little button that, I don't know, released pressure? I don't know what all got up in there, but I feel 100% reassured that THIS thermos doesn't have any hidden places for food or bacteria to collect.

Keeps the food nice and warm right from 7 am to 11.30 am when it's lunch break at school. Sometimes when there are leftovers brought back home, I've noticed that the food is still luke warm. Very happy with the purchase.

At first glance the container seems nice, but it is actually NOT. What I like is no leakage. That is all. What I dislike. First, it does not keep my food warm longer than 1-2 hours. They said 6 hour. It is not true. Second, the cleaning is kind of a puzzle. The bottom pink silicon/or robber cover has few small holes. They are there for no reason. But water is getting inside when you wash it (I wash it by hands) and you can hear splash. And you have to shake it until water is out. Otherwise, it leaks and it makes everything wet until it dries. Third, the rubber seal on the lead is made from a cheap rubber. It is not easy to wash. Even so it is removable. It keeps the smell of previous food. The bottom line - I would not recommend to buy the container. It is waste of money.

My kids love these for school and airane travel!! We used it on our longhaul flight with ramen noodles. I asked the air hostess for kettle water and put the noodles in for 10 minutes. Kids loved it!

It does what it says on the tin! It kept our soup hot, great wide mouth to enjoy a chunky soup via the spoon-a nice touch. Will I buy again-heck YES! Daughter also purchased this for my gorgeous grampkins school lunch.

I bought this flask for my 9y old to have in September along with the original yum box that we are currently using. We tested it out with some packet noodles. So in the morning I pre warmed the flask, then emptied. Put in the dry noodles and season, then added the boiling water.By lunch time the noodles were cooked and still hot.I'd expect soups and broths would retain the heat but pre cooked pasta and rice dishes probably would be warm by the time the kids eat.I'd imagine if you prepped the flask with ice water you could keep food cool aswell so could be used in the summer months for pasta salads etcIt's a nice touch having a spoon!All in all a good flask, safe enough for kiddos lunches. I'd say its a nice addition if you already have a yumbox and you have kids with a bigger appetite. And, its a great balance between the legnth of time food stays hot/cold and the price.
