I've used these for years so I'm very familiar with their use. As you can see these were actually pretty old upon arrival (see yellow nail backing). Because they were so old the elasticity of the product was effected and when peeling covering from backing the strips tore several times. Again being so familiar with the product I knew I could cut and fill in spaces. I'm not certain if the age of the product will effect the longevity but we shall see. Again the product is very good, saves money, and avoids having nail techs ruining your nails. Please ensure you have a fresh product for best results. I wish they came with an expiration date. Also if you have leftovers store in an air tight container and use later as an accent nail.

Really sad that these are no longer in production. They were perfect for someone who wanted a professional look but has zero skills with liquid polish. I will say they look good for about a week and then start coming up from the edges. I'd still buy in bulk if I could, though.

As a designer, I don't often find myself doing manual labour... But I'm here to tell you that these won't even hold up to minute tasks such as showering, or cooking.Usually I paint my nails myself, or have them gelled/shellacked professionally. I got these to test out, as I don't often have time to get my nails done. Though I figured they wouldn't hold up as well as professional gel, I was disappointed to find out they barely lasted longer than regular polish.I think they would be a great product for a quick fix between nail appointments, for special occasions, etc. But for the cost of the light, gell, and strips, I'm not really sure they're entirely worth it.

Easy to use but you’ll need your own top coat since you’ll need a UV light with the gel top coat that comes with kit. I did not realize this at first and the top coat did not dry and set so I had to remove with nail polish remover and use my own. Also another tip—any strips you do not use right away will become dry and unusable for later. So plan to use what you need at once. It’s in the fine print but I found out the hard way when I wanted to use the left over strips on my daughters nails and they would not stick. Otherwise I am happy so far 6 days and they look fresh and pretty. Can’t beat the price as well.

I have used other products from the same manufacturer before and they have been great. However, the nail strips I received may have been a bit older and they did not go on my nails very easily. In fact they tore!

I just started using these strips about a month ago. The first set I purchased at the drugstore and they were fabulous. They lasted almost the two weeks they stated. I had some leftover in the package (they give you 16), and I wanted to replace one that came off after a week, but to my surprise, it seems that once you open the foil packets the strips become hard, inflexible and lose their adhesiveness. I am hoping that the second set I open is as good as the first, but unfortunately you only get one try at it.

I love the Sally Hansen insta gel strips. These look very cute and classy. They don't last as long as promised, however, which I believe would be true of anyone who uses their hands all the time (I am a stay at home mom). Still, I will purchase again because they make me feel put together.

I love these gel strips. I’ve used them many times as they look much neater than when I paint my nails. They last longer than ordinary nail polish & even though they aren’t as good as going to a salon they are a cheap alternative. You do need a lamp to cure the gel.

Great product delivered quickly. Really good for those of us not great at applying varnish!
