I love this board game and the additional characters for a variety of gameplay use. It is not needed, but if you want try different characters and combos, get it.

If you like to hit stuff with your fists then this deck is for you.

Cho is overpowered during encounters and not great at finding clues or running away.I have play a few rounds with him and he is unstoppable in a fight.The downside in a group is he kind of steals the show when facing encounters. If the other members of your group like to battle aspect of Arkham, and you are playing Cho you may annoy them. However, if you playing in a group and getting knocked out: adding Cho will help.

These starter investigator decks are excellent to introduce friends to the game without worrying about building and upgrading a deck from scratch.
