I bought this hat for my brother who is a DJ and is always showing off different hats at his gigs. This hat screams trendy/funky. The hat itself is of pretty good quality. The materials seem durable and is equivalent to most caps you can get in athletic stores.A few observations with this hat- The word DOPE is not embroidered. It's actually a piece of plastic that is held on by 2 thicker embroiders at the edges. From a distance, it looks good, but up close, the plastic wording looks kind of cheap. Because the lettering is not embroidered, it will probably not survive many washing cycles. I recommend using a "buddy cap washer" if you plan on washing this in a machine washer.- The round sticker and "leather-like" texture of the brim is not from this product. The cap I got had a brim made of the same cotton material as the cap. It's not a negative, just something to point out since the pictures for the product is very misleading.My brother really likes this hat. This is a great looking canvas hat made of 80% cotton and 20% other. Although the stitching on the gold letters is only done on the edges of the of the logo, I think that is an easy fix by using a ballcap buddy cap washer (which we already use for other ballcaps). The back is just like a regular baseball cap, with the adjustable snaps. Overall this is a nice looking hip hop hat, and it will make a great gift for my son this christmas.
