Troy-Bilt25B-304-766 30cc Gas 4-Cycle Driveway Edger

Very Light Weight. Easy to assemble and works great like most Troy-Bilt products.

I used it for about 20 minutes to edge driveway. It takes a bit of experience to keep the blade close to the cement. This is the same for the other edger I used. That will come with practice. Easy to start for the first time.

The site changed my order to, two units. I ended up buying two. (I know, it sounds stupid, but with the order of several items, I missed that qty went to 2.) Both arrived but when I tried to send one back, the seller refuses to accept a return. Now, stuck with two.I'ts a good little edger. I've had one before and will use this one for a long time.

I got this Edger and the very first time I used this it started smoking. I contacted Amazon and they told me they couldn't help me and I had to contact the seller. The seller had me go to a local place to have it fixed. The place that fixed it charged me to fix it. I reached out to the seller again and they would not help me. Then they decided they were done talking to me and then just hung up on me. I will never by from TROYBELT ever again. They used to be a name you could trust but not anymore. They don't back their products and they have really bad customer service.

It did an amazing job on our flower beds and sidewalks. Also used it at the local church. Good quality. Couldn’t be happy we decided to purchase rather than rent.

I’ve never been real happy with this edger. Has always had problems while idling. Constantly having to reassert the motor. Also, not easy to start! I use ethanol free gas in all my outdoor garden tools as well as my Jeep Wrangler so fuel should not be a problem. I purchased this enter in September of 2022 so it’s less than two years old and has trimmed approximately 450 to 500 feet of driveway and sidewalk. The problem is of course the carburetor. How do know? I have owned approximately thirty gas powered yard tools in the last 40 years and they almost always have carburetor failure. However, this is one of several tools I have that have 4 cycle engines so there is no fuel mixing involved. I used this trimmer three weeks ago and it did the job but today it simply gave out and will not restart! As stated above, these things are made in China and are not built to very good standard of quality. I would not recommend this edger.

I went for the triblade for it which makes more sense, great investment! I was careful to use fresh gasoline as encouraged in the directions. I also used pure synthetic oil for longevity.This little edger/trencher is a jewel. The throttle controls the spin and the kill switch is right at your finger. Just like any blade edger it does NOT like to bump into concrete. Bottom line l like to be in control of the spin speed and depth of the trench. The three wheels and the blade position are in the perfect alignment. Short of NOT following the clear instructions l can't understand negative reviews on this. I am only disappointed in one thing: that of having tried so many "make do" edgers for years when this Troy Built is a pleasure to use.
