This kitchen tool is extremely well designed and is made from very high quality materials. Sturdy and functional, it is so easy to use. Fill with the food you want to freeze (markings on the inside of the cubes, in decimal or cups, make it easy not to overfill) pop on the sturdy plastic lid, and freeze. A stiffener around the upper rim keeps it from being crushed when you fill and handle it. The frozen cubes of food pop out easily so you can use them, seal them in a food sealer, or put them in plastic bags and use the Souper Cuber again to freeze more stuff. The cuber is really easy to clean, too. I enthusiastically recommend this product for myself and I also think it's a great gift.

Finally found a great solution for freezing and storing single-serve soups and meals using these Souper cubes! These cubes work well for my needs, allowing me to portion soups and meals conveniently. The ability to add water to stretch the soups when needed is a handy trick, similar to store-bought soups. My process of pressure cooking the soup, letting it cool, and then distributing it into Souper cubes for freezing appears is efficient. These are the perfect size for homemade soup. One section is one serving, so we got two two-serving pieces. The lids fit perfectly and I’m able to freeze soups and then put the big cubes into freezer bags for storage. They’re soft silicone so it’s really easy to get the frozen soup out of the container. This was a bargain for how well-made they are and how well they work. Saves the family time and money.

I’m not a baker, so I pretty much just put them in the freezer. This size is great for daily use, soup, broth, mixed fruits for smoothie, frozen veggies …I mean, use your imaginations. They save so much time and money on food preparations. Forget about frozen vegetables sold for 5 bucks and you can only eat once or twice. They are durable and not get stained so far. I was hesitant to buy this because the price really seemed a bit high for the product. But I read through a lot of reviews that basically summed it up as, "too much money, but I love it anyway" -- and I'm adding my own review to that stack now. These are a great idea and simple to use; my husband and I both love them and do not regret the purchase - although they still seem a bit overpriced. The price factor knocked my review from 5 stars to 4.
