I have a S&W 629 3" Deluxe 44 Magnum. It came with very beautiful wood grips. Unfortunately with full power 44 Magnum 240 grain bullets, it is unpleasant to shoot. Most of my other Magnums have similar Hogue grips, including a 454 Casull Ruger Alaskan.Installation is very easy. Remove the screw from the base of the hinge, attach it to the base of the steel frame, then guide the hinge down the slot in the monogrip. Lastly, tighten the screw.For my large hands, the grooves are very useful, and I have a solid base for control. The grips do not wrap around the back, but honestly, the added width and the softer but firm texture are more than enough for me. Shooting is a lot more pleasant. I was able to use up 50 rounds consecutively without pain. I was even able to rapid fire shooting 44 Magnum loads without any issues.Rubber is very durable, except when dropped onto a hard surface. Because it's pliable, it won't crack like wood will do over time. Since the cost is more than reasonable, I wouldn't have heartburn replacing it. I have had these on other revolvers p, and they have lasted many years.I am very pleased with this design, and I'd get another set for any other revolver I may acauire in the future.

Exceptional product with surprising improvement over the factory grips. I was doubtful of the need to go with the Hogue grip on my S&W 629. My opinion was that the factory grips were already of satisfactory quality and sufficient enough for my purpose. I decided to try them out because: 1) I previously applied Hogue grips to a SigSauer handgun which made a remarkable improvement in its functionality; and 2) the price is very reasonable to try out the product. I am extremely happy I made the purchase, and pleased with the quality and the final fit and feel. The Hogue finger grooves are a fantastic improvement over the factory grips. No problems whatsoever with installation. Installation process is not complicated. Instructions are easy to understand, though somewhat challenging to read with small print on dark blue paper. Great product and improvement for the price.

This grip should not go on a 629 6.5". It's narrow and way to small. It does fit fine but is lacking the meat a 44 mag needs to hold on to properly in my opinion. I do have larger hands but someone with small hands probably won't be comfortably shooting a large framed 44. My 2 cents

Fits like a glove

Great fitting product from Hogue. It fit very tight and looks/feels great in my hands. Mine came with the fancy wooden grips that look great, but murdered your hands when you shot it. These grips are the best for the money.

Good improvement in handling recoil of a magnum revolver.

The standard wood grips on the M&P 327 snub look great; however, offer almost zero recoil control when shooting the 357 mag. Slipped so much so I was getting cuts in the web of my thumb/palm. If you use gloves with the wood grips, probably be ok, but I don't typically wear gloves when shooting.Slapped this grip on and control and grip was excellent. An absolute must have, in my opinion.

Nフレーム用として届きましたが　タナカ製モデルガンのNフレームにキツクとても入らない以前に購入したK~Lフレーム用と比べてみると外観～サイズが　全く同じものなのだが　当方は知識不足のせいか判らないがまぁーいいか。又、K~Lフレームのモデルガンを購入した時に　使おう！
