I've ordered two colors of this Pineapple and Star hat. Their quality is superb: Materials, workmanship, packaging, it’s all reflective of a much more expensive product.Fit is exactly right. I have a 21" head and small is perfect. Built into the hat is a drawstring for minor size adjustments, which I like because I can easily change it according to whether my hair is pinned up or loose. Also included is a packet containing soft Velcro pads for making more substantial sizing changes. I do not need these, but I really appreciated the fact that the company included them.There is also an included chinstrap, although I found the instructions for how to attach it somewhat lacking and judging by the other reviews, others have too so I would advise the company to give more explicit instructions to prevent unnecessary returns or unfairly low reviews. I haven't tried to attach the strap since reading some other reviews that show how there are two (very hard to find!) gaps in stitching that holds the inner band to the hat itself, but I trust they are there and if and when I want to use the chin strap, I have it. A nice extra. The enclosed packet also included two little metal decorative pins - one is a pineapple, the other is a star - should you want to adorn the hat further.Of the two Amari hats I ordered, the off-white w/black band ($35) came well protected in a cardboard support box. The ivory w/navy band ($50) came protected in a custom, zippered clear plastic hat case and arrived in perfect condition. Despite the price difference, the two hats are identical other than the bands and the plastic zip case.Ultimately, I returned the navy banded one, but only because I hadn’t noticed in the photographs that their company name is printed on the outside of the hat band, and that the hat band was not solid navy blue, but navy blue with a pure white stripe above it. I see now they also mention this in the longer description, which I didn't read because I already had the black one and knew I loved it. These design details were not to my personal taste, however, they certainly did not reflect on the quality of the hat, and might be something others like. I just don’t like to wear any brand names on the outside of my clothing. I wish the company offered a plain navy blue band with no writing and no additional stripe, like the one with the solid, plain black band.I also would like to add that the navy-banded hat is described as ivory and their identical model (Amari) hat with the black band is described as off-white, but in person, the two colors of straw are identical.I hope this company succeeds because it’s refreshing to see such a well-made product for such an affordable price. I won’t hesitate to buy from them again.

I just received this hat and I really like the brim and for the really low price it seems to be good quality. Unfortunately it arrived mis-shapened. I really like it so I reordered. I don't feel like reshaping a brand new hat hat. It's new so. Hoping for the best. I'll update once the new one arrives. Thankfully Amazon returns are a breeze. The hat arrived in a clear zipped plastic bag shaped like a hat. Maybe a cardboard box to protect the brim and crown might work better. I'm not sure. Looking forward to the new arrival. If all goes well I'll give it a 5 star rating because it's the right shape and color.UPDATE:2 days later I have an update.😊 The replacement hat arrived and looks good. It doesn't has those waves like the one in the pic.The hat fits well! I really like how flat the brim is. Again, it feels like quality. It's pretty light as well. I haven't worn it out (it just arrived), but putting it on my head it feels like it will be fine to wear all day. I purchased large and I like this size because the front inner area near my forehead doesn't feel like it start get irritating from close wear all day. In other words, no pressure there.I will still shape it a tad bit and use a stiffner to get it just the way I want it. It is collapsible so I guess that may account for these hats not having the perfect crown. I included a single third pic to demonstrate. But that's just beung VERY nit picky. The hats really do seem well made.Another update after my first wear test.😉

I have an unusually large head for a woman. One size hats are always too small. This hat fits!! It fits!!! There are so many ways to adjust it and there’s a strap to keep in on in windy weather. It had SPF 50. This is important to me. I just had a basal cell cancer removed from my forehead so this hat helps hide the bandage. I love the size of the brim and the all the features and it looks wonderful on me! Did I mention I love this hat!

We were invited to a fancy outdoor wine and food event being held on a summer afternoon. And all my hats were either ball caps or floppy sun hats. So I went looking for a wide brim fedora - that I might only wear once. I wanted it to look good, fit comfortably, protect me from the sun and not cost too much. Looked like this met those requirements, and was more than pleased when I got it. It's everything I wanted. Most importantly, it came with easy-to-install pads that allowed me to adjust it to the perfect fit.

This hat is somewhere between classy and beach worthy. It comes in a zippered case for care of the hat while traveling. The color is perfect (very natural without an orange or yellow tone), there is weight to the hat but not heavy. It runs a little big. I got a large as I usually do but could have gone with a medium. I won’t wear it on a windy day but I also won’t worry about removing my hat and having the band imprinted on my forehead. So pretty, I will likely order a different color.

I like this hat because the brim is sturdy and doesn’t sag or have a bend. It comes with a plastic zippered cover for storage and has some adjusters to help the fit. I got so many compliments on this hat. I love it.

As a musical performer, I was looking for something dressy enough for outdoor gigs, but offering good sun protection as well, without spending a small fortune. This hat satisfied on all accounts.The large seemed more like an extra-large at first, but an ingenious velcro device at the back allowed adjustment, and two padded velcro spacers that fit inside the band offered even more. I was able to get a proper fit with minimal adjustment.

Excellent product! Even though I measured my head and re-checked two times it was a little on the large side. Had to make some adjustments but it will work. Not perfect but good!

I like the hat. The quality of the material seems good and it's plenty comfortable. It fits a bit large, but it's easy to adjust. The biggest issue is the loose stitching. I can't see this lasting that long as a result.

A superb quality hat for the price. I had ordered one for £5 cheaper only to return it as it arrived in a thin plastic bag crushed beyond recognition. This was beautifully packaged with attention to detail. Amazing value. I bought a large size as I wanted it loose and it’s great but can be easily adjusted.
