Great for beginners!
Our kids loved these! They are just learning leather craft and these stamps made great bracelets and gave them a reprieve from tooling. The worked great for us!

Love these stamps!
I love making tooled leather projects. There are some that call for labeling or personalization. The set has the upper-case letters plus a snap-in handle for them. The plastic case keeps them neat & tidy.I like the style. They stamp well & are easy to read. That’s all I could want from them. Highly recommended.

Works like a charm
So far only used 2 letters on an actual project but played with all of them on some scrap and they tooled out very nicely and crisp with just a few hits from the hammer.

This is a great set for a beginner like me
Pro: This is a great set for a beginner like me. In the future, maybe I'll upgrade to a nicer set or another size.Con: There is no marker on the letters indicating which was is up. For most letters, it's a simple matter of looking at the stamp before you put it on the leather, but for some letters, like O or H, which could go either way, I had to look very closely. The trick was to look at the "holes" between the markings and the midpoint of the letter. You can see in the picture on the item the "midpoint" of the A, B, and C is slightly above half of the height of the letter.I like the style and size of the lettering. It was hard to find a style and size that I wanted. As a basic rule, I was able to fit about 7 letters across a 3" leather coaster, accounting for the stitching around the edges of the coaster.I had no trouble with making an actual impression. I read about properly casing leather and did so prior to my first attempt. I had never stamped anything in leather before, but it was simple enough. The trick is to very carefully stamp the first letter, then leave the letter base in its impression and use it as a guide to line up the next letter. This is written in the directions (which I noticed later.)

very nice
This is a great set, just remember not to hit the stamp to hard or you will get a square around your letter.

Quality Leather Tool!!
Perfect for a side hobby making leather fire shields for work. The stamps strike even, and leave deep letters in this 6-8oz veg tan leather. The letters are 3/8 when stamped.

Great for DIY labels on knitted items
Used these on vegetable tanned leather strips and the print is crisp and just the right size for label-making.
