Simple look, works good for my autistic son, but it is too easy to reprogram the lock code, and my daughter has changed it a few times, playing with it. It is easy enough to figure out the code, but still its not fool proof from the clever little ones!

Yes this is perfect, my dad has high blood sugar and Alzheimer’s and he’s constantly trying to eat everything all day. It’s dangerous with high blood sugar. Now we are able to lock the fridge and cabinet and not worry about the risk of having his blood sugar over 800 from eating snacks.Update: I bought 3 of these and one stopped working all the sudden. WE had to cut it but after pulling, yanking hard it finally opened. thankfully we have hot glue , glued the fabric back and rising again. Problem is I bought another one faster than we fixed it!

This is a 2-pack fridge lock. I opened the package and changed the code on one of the locks to 123, then tried it. I could not unlock it. I thought maybe I didn't change the code correctly so I tried 000 again but still could not unlock it. I ended up cutting the damn lock with a scissor. So I didn't bother changing the code on the other lock and started using it as it is. I'm a bit disappointed.

Does what we need it to do in order to deter our 3 HS football players from eating everything in the extra refrigerator. And the code is easy to changeOnly problem is if they are trying to “break” in it’s pretty easy to do so by just holding down the buttons on each side of the latch and spinning the combination until it gives. But that’s more of a morality issue we have to solve with the kids not an issue with the lock.It serves as the deterrent we need.Thanks

My children have been too smart for me to waste money on childproof items. They figure out how to open things within a few seconds. This was one of those “childproof” items they figured out. Any combination that was used, they figured it out. Then, they decided to change the combination on me….. rendering them useless because they forgot the combinations. Needless to say, we don’t use them. Maybe if it had more than 3 combinations it would be better.

Very easy to use & keeps my son going in the refrigerator & destroying all our food.

It does the job. It's not super quick to open like other locks. You can leave the numbers in the right order to make it easier.

It worked great until my son messed with the code and accidentally reset the code. In that case, there is no backup, no secret re-set, nothing... I had to cut it off the fridge.
