I opened the bocce set and found each ball individually packed in bubble wrap inside a box which was inside the carrying case. Set is extremely high quality and the manufacturing is flawless. I was looking to pay a little more for a set that I feel will last a long time. This is definitely it! If your thinking about getting a set for $30-$40, do yourself a favor and pay a little more and check out the quality of this set. You will be very happy you did.Other reviews mentioned the carrying case was a bit flimsy which does appear to be true. I decided to leave the box they come in right inside the carrying bag to help it keep its shape during storage and transporting. this is working out great and I recommend you do this to help support the weight of the full bag. Highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a awesome set of bocce balls.

I like the feel and the weight but they scratch very easily

At 1200g, too heavy for my taste (*weight was noted in the q&a, which I missed but official weight for this size is around 900g) , but the balls came with multiple scratches and resin defects. I'm sure I'll scuff them myself but a brand new product should be without defect. Will return.

We had to initiate a return, reorder and combine both orders to get a complete set of bocce balls that were not cracked or damaged. It also came with a measuring tape where each inch is actually an 1-1/4”.

These feel great in the hands, I love the carrying case, the tape measure was a bonus, and the color way is perfect as well. My only issue with this product - the very first time I tossed one of the bocce balls I felt it catch on my finger as I threw it. I walked up and noticed that there was this hole in the casing. This is concerning for a couple of reasons. 1) the product was not quality checked before sending. 2) this leads me to worry about the durability and construction of the product. The price of the set didn't match the perceived value that I hoping of getting.We did play 4 or 5 games with the defective ball and noticed that it would often catch on your finger. The other balls are seemingly holding up okay so far. Not sure if this one was molded with an air pocket or what but I am a little disappointed.It is important to note - I have not contacted the seller yet. I plan to do that right after posting this review. I will update should they respond to my attempt of contacting them and let you know the resolution, if there is one.8/27/20 Update [From 2 to 5 Stars]The seller reached out, was very professional, and we settled on a partial refund so that I could source a new ball. For that, I am updating from 2 stars to 5. The set is great, I was only disappointed in the one ball that came with a hole in the casing. Other than that, I have no complaints and will now be able to replace the ball. Sure it is a bit of leg work on my end but the seller was very professional so I do not mind sourcing a new ball.

My husband inherited a Bocce Ball set from his grandfather that is an original set from Italy. I recently got my grandson interested in playing Bocce and ordered this set for his birthday for two reasons: one, it looks exactly like the set my husband inherited from his grandfather which I loved from the time we started using them, and two, the price for the perceived quality from what I could tell from the photo. However, when I received the set I was extremly impressed, the set is very high quility, the weight spot-on, and the pellino slightly larger than most which is necessary when playing in the grass. My grandson LOVED the set and we play every weekend! Thank you ApudArmis, much appreciated!

Love the weight and feel of these Bocce balls. The case is a little flimsy for the weight of 8 of these balls however. I'd think a stiffer/heavier case would make carrying a lot easier as the present one deforms when you pick it up becuase of the weight.

I can’t comment to the longevity of these balls, as I have only had them for a few weeks. However, we have played a few games and they have been great! They are good quality, haven’t chipped, and play very nicely. Highly recommend!
