Fatima's Garden Argan & Oud Oil - Luxurious Skin Moisturizer, 100ml

I had to come back here and tell y’all the story about how I found this Fatima’s Garden Argan oil. My Husband is Moroccan, from the City of Agadir, right in the middle of the Argan Oil region in southwest Morocco. He introduced me to this amazing oil when we first met a few years ago and since then I simply can’t live without it. When he visits his family there once a year, he always brings me a few bottles of super high quality argan oil straight from the source : a family member working in an argan oil women's cooperative in the Agadir Region. But this year I ran out of stock early, and I couldn’t wait for him to bring me my yearly dose…So i tried 3 affordable brands on amazon, but wasn't satisfied with the scent and texture of the oil. It just wasn’t the same as the oil I am used to. Until I gave Fatima’s Garden a shot since I read nice reviews on facebook and I can tell you I was more than satisfied with my purchase.It came in 2 days, nicely packaged and well protected. The bottle was inside a sealed plastic wrap, that was inside a bubble plastic bag, that was inside the amazon bubbly yellow envelope.I love the fact that the bottle is dark glass. it protect the oil active elements and make my oil last longer.The label is very nice as well I love the pink color, it has the USDA Organic Certification Logo as well as the Ecocert logo. That made me feel more confident in the quality. The label also states that it has only one ingredient : “100% pure Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil” “Virgin, Cold Pressed, 100% Organic”. It also had a production date, expiration date and lot number. That’s always a good thing. One particular thing that struck me on the label is that there’s one section where it says : “our beliefs : Women empowerment , woman/man equality , ethical agriculture , fair wages” , I found it super cool that they display these values on their label because I know from my husband that these are not guaranteed values in Morocco… Women there still got a long way to go in terms of gender gap and socio-economic Justice and Equality…Then came the moment of truth, I opened the bottle and smelled the oil. I instantly smiled since it was the same exact smell as my husband’s Moroccan Argan Oil : a very subtle earthy-nutty smell. I put a few drops on my hand to test it, and the texture felt exactly the same as well : I rubbed it and within seconds, my skin totally absorbed it. I then knew I found the Holy Grail!The applicator is a glass dropper, way better than the moroccan traditional bottles that my husband brings me. Now I can apply the exact amount of drops that are needed for each of my body parts since a few drops goes a long way.I use it on my face, under makeup and at night after cleansing my skin. it has no greasy feel, yet leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.Since I ran out of my argan oil, my hair have been frizzy, dull and poofy, but applying this oil made it feel soft, smooth and shiny again without that bad greasy look I hate. I have applied it to my dry heels and it softened them up quickly. I know, I use it on everything, that’s why I run out of stock so quickly 🙂 .The seller was so nice too, he sent an email by the end of the week asking if everything was alright. He also offered a very interesting Fatima’s Garden brochure that contains several ways I didn't know about of how I could use argan oil. I feel like I will try the “deep overnight hair moisturising” technique really soon and keep y’all feedback about it.At such an affordable price, I think I will repurchase it way before my husband brings me my yearly stock from Morocco.

Smells great I enjoy it mixed with my lotion

Received mine in 2 days through amazon prime. It was well packaged in a dark glass bottle with a dropper applicator. this is perfect to protect the oil and its vitamins and fatty acids from the sun rays and the applicator is also very convenient for measuring the exact number of drops needed without causing any spills. The label gets a 5 stars rating from me for positively checking all the quality elements I look for on a label :Ecocert/USDA certificationLot NumberProduction and Expiry datesIngredient list only containing 1 Element : Pure Virgin cold pressed Argania Spinoza Kernel oilWhen you see all 4 of these, you are already quite sure the quality is premium. The label also got an unexpected bonus part that particularly resonated with me :Fatima’s Garden’s Beliefs : it says “women empowerment , Man/women Equality, Ethical Agriculture, Fair Wages” , I love that!And sure enough, I was extremely satisfied with the smell and the texture of the oil. I am a long time user of Argan oil. I tried many brands and this one is by far the best quality of argan oil I ever tried.I use it on my face daily and my skin feels amazing. People always think I’m in my early 20’s 🙂 It has pretty much replaced all my previous moisturizers. I love how It gives my skin a healthy glow without looking oily. It is mainly due the ultra-fast absorbance of this particular oil. The oil completely disappears from the surface of my skin less than a minute after application.Same thing happens with my hair, it absorbs so quickly without ending up with a greasy hair look. It leaves my hair looking very shiny and feeling very soft, I usually apply it right after shower when my hair is still drying up.I also use this magic oil on my children’s skin. It is a miraculous remedy to sun burns when they spend all day at the swimming pool. Rubbing a few drops on their back in the evening totally eases their pain. Now that I am writing them down, I am amazed by the number of uses this oil can have...Another great use of Argan oil is more specific : I found out it is my favorite carrier oil for my home made mixtures : I add in lavender, rosemary, lemon and other essential oils. It blends so good together without having the fragrances interfering. I call my unique mixes : My Fatima’s Potions.I could go on and on about the many uses of this oil but I think I said the main ones. Plus Fatima’s Garden has an incredibly fast and friendly seller service. They were so fast to add in information about the other uses of their oil, they explained a little bit the process of production, which is very interesting as well. So All in all , a really great product, would totally buy again and recommend it to other buyers looking for organic alternatives to expensive, chemical cosmetics that promise you youth forever.

The media could not be loaded.  *J'avais mis 4 étoiles, j'ai changé ma note lendemain en mettant 5 étoiles car l'huile est PARFAITE ! *Cette huile d'argan est dans un premier temps très très agréable à sentir et appliquer.j'aurais souhaité avoir une notice d'explication ne serait-ce que pour savoir comment l'utiliser je ne parle pas des dosages car chaque peau est différente je parle juste de l'application que l'on doit mettre dans la paume de la main et que l'on doit avec un mouvement circulaire faire chauffer avant d'appliquer juste un petit bout de papier avec un conseil aurait été la bienvenue cependant et il est important de préciser que ce produit est vraiment très très bon.Juste un petit papier d'explication et je garantis que personne ne pourra mettre moins de 5 étoiles !Le prix est plus que correct ! Je recommande vraiment ! I read about the ethics of Fatima Garden & felt it was the right choice to buy from women who are empowering local women's cooperative. Not to mention that those who devised the product know were trained pharmacist/biologists. Unlike those celebs who just splash their names on products to make money. No fancy packaging. No perfume or nasties, as guaranteed by the company. I got overwhelmed when searching for something. I have devised a set of rules to abide by when deciding what to buy. And, Fatima Garden just tick all the boxes for me.

There is an abundance of argan oil out there, and they range massively in quality, content and price. Some are products loaded with silicones (in particular Morrocanoil treatment oil). An ingredient list is ordered by largest proportion listed first so if silicones eg Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone are listed first you’re primarily buying a product with silicones. If argan oil is listed as 3rd or 4th ingredient it’s not the primary ingredient. Fatima argan oil has ONE SOLE ingredient which is Argania Spinosa. NO silicones, no other additives, no colour , no fragrance and this is a good thing. I have been buying and using Argan oil for many years now. This is the second time I’ve bought the ‘Fatima’s Garden’ brand.Argan oil, like most other oils, can have slight variations in colour depending on the season of harvest and quality of fruits. This means it’s not always fair to compare quality with colour since you cannot really know these things unless you are physically present at the time of harvest. There are some obvious differences though. For example, cooking-grade Argan oil tends to have a deeper orange hue due to the roasting process. It can also have a stronger (almost rancid) scent in comparison to cosmetic-grade. Cosmetic-grade should be a light golden hue with a light nutty aroma which this oil had (though it is lighter in colour than previous oils I have bought). When rubbed into the skin, cosmetic-grade oil should soon become scentless, which this oil did.The bottle states that this product is “100% Argania Spinoza kernel oil” and that it was “made in Morocco”.It is important to note that the certifications are for it being an ORGANIC product... NOT for being pure Argan oil. You have to take their word for it when they say it is pure Argan oil.I’m mostly happy with the colour, scent and viscosity which soaks into the skin well without leaving a greasy look or feeling. I do feel the oil should have been in a dark-shaded glass bottle though, rather than white. It is well known that Argan oil stays best away from heat and sunlight. I store mine in a cool cupboard though should be fine.It’s a nice quality oil which shouldn’t disappoint.

This is a beautiful, high-quality filtered argan oil with an added orange blossom scent in a convenient dropper bottle. What a great scent! The scent is significant enough to enjoy while oiling your hair but fades within a few minutes so that it doesn't remain intrusive. Because the ingredient list doesn't specify whether the scent is synthetic or natural, I haven't put this on my (very sensitive, reactive) facial skin, just in case, but I haven't had any reactions around my shoulders or neck where the oiled hair has come to rest. It would be nice if the manufacturer could please specify whether the scents are synthetic or from essential oils/floral absolutes as this would help people with specific sensitivities decide what may or may not work for them, and be useful to avoid allergies to natural products as well.Argan oil is particularly suitable for anyone with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or Asian hair--it would be too light for kinky hair types. It's perfect for one of us with Mediterranean hair, who uses it in full dropper doses to get a beautiful shine and reduced frizz. I have super-fine North European type straight hair, and for me any oil will instantly make my hair look unwashed if used in a large quantity. For those with my type of hair, I recommend applying three drops just to the ends of your still-damp hair after a shower, and combing it gently through from the ends up. Or apply a drop to a wood-pin hairbrush and again, working from the ends up, work through damp hair. In this way, you'll distribute a finer layer of oil more thoroughly, avoiding the attractive 'greased weasel' look. ;) You can also apply it more heavily a few hours before you plan to wash your hair, and massage it into your scalp as well for a nice treatment.This is a very high quality oil, and I also appreciate that the company works to empower women and offers fair wages. We'll definitely be ordering this in the rose, as well as the dedicated 'hair oil', and in larger sizes in the future.
