Magic the Gathering - Commander 2013 - Eternal Bargain Deck

This deck is a shining example of how you don't have to go out and buy tons of booster packs to make a great commander deck! The package comes with the 100 cards you need for a commander deck and 3 extra-large cards of your commanders. It is very modestly priced for the amount of cards that come with the deck. It also comes with instructions on how to play the commander version of the card game; so even if you’ve never played this version, you can quickly learn. Any Magic The Gathering player looking for a high-risk, high-reward deck should definitely pick up this pack.The cards in this pack are very high quality, as to be expected of magic cards. They are durable, but I would recommend buying some card protectors if you plan on using this deck a lot. That way the cards stay nice and crisp through every victory!I have used this deck in multiple games and it is very powerful if used correctly. Anyone who enjoys using black or blue decks will enjoy playing with this deck. It has a lot of cards that work together so you have to plan your moves a lot more than you would normally. I found this to be the most fun part of this deck though. The skill that has to be used in playing a deck that consists of white, blue, and black cards is high but also rewarding.For the collectors that are looking to find some rare cards, this deck has tons of them. Almost 2/3 of the cards are rare or legendary cards that would’ve taken me months to find in booster packs. Anyone who is looking for a fun commander deck but doesn’t want to spend a fortune finding the right cards should purchase this pack, it has a great price and is well worth the money.

This commander is banned in 1v1 duels for a reason. Lemme just say there is a broken combo that comes with this: Serra Avatar, Wall of Reverance, and if you keep getting blocked, Sanguine Bonds. You'll double your Life and Serra's power and toughness during each end step. Using a crawlspace and giving Serra vigilance is also a fantastic strategy.

Had this for a year and still love this deck. Only contains about a third of the starting cards, but that is the beauty of it. The Commander is so versatile that you can easily build a deck around his colors while not being constrained to any one strategy. I have NEVER even bothered to cast him. He just sits there in the command zone gaining me life. I could run three different decks off what I consider the foundation cards in this deck. It has been a lot of fun for me, and frustration for my buddies.

Great deck. Package came in a little roughed up. Oversized Oloro card was bent in the sealed package. Box was torn in two places. 5 stars otherwise.
