I rated this 5 stars because it's really cute!!! However, I purchased a size 8 and it fit like a size 6. My son is a big boy for his age and I got so excited to finally see that there was a size 8 instead of just toddler sizes. It was very snug on him. Also the material was different type of like fleece, it nice and soft but the inside had like a weird stiffness to it? I am guessing to make it more durable/thick for warmth since fleece is usually a thin material. I would say spring or cold summer nights type of wear.I ended up just regifting it to a family member instead of returning it bc I I had to pay $3.00 for S&H to return it (which isn't bad) I just didn't see any use of doing all that.Please make sure you do the correct measurements!!!
