THE SEASON TO BELIEVE.......
How sad that some of you feel this movie was a waste of your time......this was the year Patrick was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and while it was not a sterling a performance as Dirty Dancing he was still great in it. The kids were typical kids ...... but it should be recognized as a renewed belief in Santa, no matter what age you are, or even if you don't feel it is cool to believe in Santa. It is the season to Believe and we all should. I, personally, am glad that one of Patrick's last movies was so lighthearted and fun.

Why the bad reviews?
Wholesome family entertainment with a good cast and story. If you've ever been to the West Edmonton Mall you'll love it even more. One of Patrick Swayze's last films, if you like him you'll also love it, but he is not the star, the little girl and her brother are.

What I nice movie.
This is a good Christmas movie for the whole family to watch. Patrick Swayze is left to handle getting things ready for Christmas. He lost his job, his wife is in L.A. trying to get out to them and they moved to Canada in hopes of finding another job. Its Christmas time and he doesn't have enough money to do much of anything. He tries to buy gifts and can't. He takes his family to the mall and he passes his daughter off the oldest son to watch. The girl is the youngest of the three kids and she wants to see Santa. So she wishes for Santa to get her father a million dollars, so that he could buy gifts. So while the kids are skating a bag of money falls down on to the rink. The kids spot it and think its from Santa, but the money is counterfeit and they start to spend it. The bad people that made the money go after these kids and they end up being put through the wringer from chasing these kids. The money does fall into the police at this mall. They then think that this family is making it only to find out that they weren't. They go home with no gifts and the house is a total mess. Patrick sends the kids to bed and they wake up to the mother making it home and the house clean with the house decorated. I tree up with gifts and Christmas dinner already. Its a really cute story for the holidays.

My daughter is 13 and we both actually liked this movie
We were looking for a holiday movie we had never scene before and found this on Amazon Prime. My daughter is 13 and we both actually liked this movie. Was it totally original? No. But show me a movie that completely is these days. The movie, in the end, does show the siblings getting along and realizing the importance of family over presents. The chase scenes were action filled and funny. If you are looking for a light, humorous Christmas movie this is a good choice. No one is dying like in the Hallmark movies...

Titles are deceptive?
Not sure how this ever got more than 2 stars, but this movie tried way too hard to be what it is. It is full of unknown actors, with only one notable actor of whom was completely wasted as the most obnoxious excuse for an anti-hero. Don't watch this movie, even if it's free, that hour and some odd minutes of your life will be spent in bewilderment (see: First sentence of this review) and could be spent literally doing anything else. I'd rather have spent an hour using the restroom, playing candy crush (I disdain candy crush).I understand "suspension of disbelief" and am not hating on this movie for being a Christmas story where (SPOILER ALERT) Santa is real, and lives in the mall. It just felt like it was made by a couple Youtube wannabe directors, with animations done in blender while on acid and juiced up on Mountain Dew.Great alternatives to this (See: Everything except Ishtar and High School Musical) would be the Santa Clause Series, The Home Alone Series, and so on.I'm sure many will disagree with me somehow, and that's okay, this is my review, not my attempt to be liked. If you do however watch this movie, and somehow finish it, and enjoy it, then I see no further reason for you to ever read any review ever again. Why? You're impressively open minded and easily pleased. I wish I were selling you a car.Merry Christmas,M.A.

Please pass this one up,..talentless, tasteless, worthless. sadly, Patrick couldn't even save this poor attempt at a good movie.
How did they convince Patrick Swazey to be in this?? No other talent was represented in this entire excuse for a movie..so sorry I wasted my time on something so ridiculous and beyond cheesy..no real point, just scattered running all over the mall scenes, for real,..it's horrid,..not funny, entertaining, nor worth watching..Sorry, even Patrick couldn't save this failed attempt at a good movie,...

christmas movie starring the late patrick swayze
Really enjoyable christmas film which is suitable for all the family, as there is no nudity or vulgar language. Film is set in Canada and stars the late patrick Swayze. . Humerous film with a feel good ending, which is, if you believe in santa, anything is possible.

Really good family movie
I like this movie as it centres around the Edmonton Mall, Canada, where my partner and I holidayed once. We had a wonderful time and bought back some memories. It's a nice Christmas family film with some humour.

Good fun with a nice Christmassy ending
Christmas in Wonderland Starring Patrick SwayzeThis Christmas comedy caper is colourful, fast action and slapstick. If you are fans of the Home Alone films you will thoroughly enjoy this as it is on similar lines. It tells of a family, finding themselves on hard times at Christmas. When dad (Patrick Swayze) takes the children to the big shopping mall, the younger children find a bag of money and immediately start spending it, before being discovered by the thieves. The film then develops to their pursuit of the kids and the various ways that the kids outwit the baddies.Good fun with a nice Christmassy ending. 4/5 stars
