Juvale Vintage Stainless Steel Bread Box (Red 16.75 x 9 x 6.5 In)

It's been yonks since I had a bread box. Mom and Dad had one which was nice enough, but I remember having to store the bread in the fridge during the summer anyway. Still, I hate refrigerated bread, so I decided to take the chance and buy myself this bin in hope that I could find a way to make it work year-round. About which, more later.The box itself is surprisingly large. I fit one very large loaf of rye bread in it along with a good size round of white, and two small bits of loaves, and there is still space inside, though I wouldn't want to over-fill it if I could help it. It's solidly made and has a row of ventilation holes along the back. I love the bright red color of it, and the retro style. It's a cute accent in my kitchen, and I'm fairly certain that in every season save summer, it will be a vast improvement over the refrigerator.As for summer though, I've tossed a couple of silica packets in the bottom of the bin to hold down the humidity, which is one reason why mold grows so quickly in summer. I can't stop it, but I can (I hope) slow the process. Either way, this was a good deal at its price, and I'm happy I decided to spring for it.

I was searching for a good, old fashioned, solid wood bread box and they don't exist. Everything is made either of bamboo or stapled together and that's not what I wanted. I checked the auction and while there were some great vintage and antique boxes, most were rapidly exceeding my price range. I decided on this metal box as opposed to a replica or inferior wood one. The size is perfect, right now it's keeping a pack of hamburger buns, a small baguette, 6 wrapped croissants, and a stack of Ritz Crackers away from my sneaky dog.All then paint is perfect, no chips or bumps. It arrived well protected and in excellent condition. The box lid is aligned and open/closes with ease. The design actually gives the vintage look I was looking for but at a more affordable price and without the wood, who would have thought?I really like it and recommend, it's perfect

I love the retro vibe that this bread box has, I was looking for a simple stainless steel bread box and found one that fit exactly what I was looking for. But then I saw this and it caught my eye!I was a little apprehensive at first to purchase this because a few reviews had mentioned that they received a damaged product. But mine came in perfect condition, and I am so glad I purchased this! It adds just a touch of a retro feel to my kitchen and a pop of color. I also feel as though I have more room in this bread box than I did in my previous one (that opened with a sliding door in front like most bread boxes). I think the way it opens from the top allows you to take more advantage of the room inside. I could easily fit two loaves of bread and more in here. My previous box it was difficult to fit two loaves in it without the door pinching one of them when I slid it closed.Overall, I am very satisfied with this box in both its quality and appearance!

Arrived well packaged and without dents, nicks or other issues. Lightweight and lid is not hinged in order to prevent falling back and getting dented. This bread pan is metal but not stainless steel so will rust! Colour is brilliant red, size is good as I’m a baker and air holes are helpful to prevent condensation buildup. I placed a cloth napkin on the bottom of the pan before putting my freshly baked cooled loaves in partly opened ziplock bags, as a further deterrent to moisture buildup.I will update the review if the bread pan becomes rusted inside, in spite of the precautions to prevent that.

Perfect. Excellent delivery - soooo fast. Not a scratch on it. It's cute as it can be and holds several whole loaves with room for more. Love the vibrant red color, the lower case lettered ....b r e a d... on front, and it keeps my counters clean - cause I never have put my bread in the fridge and always have several open on the counters. Received purchase in tip top shape, no dents, dings or scratches. The red is beautiful, excellent capacity for our needs...holds fresh baked breads, store bought loaves and pastries. Was at first hesitant making the purchase because of some of the negative reviews, but have come to some conclusion that since there are not many pics posted of complaining comments, it's worth giving it a try. Purchase was well packaged and do not understand people saying theirs had dents in it. I would buy from this seller again. Very fast shipment.

Bought this for my mom for mother’s day as we saw the same model at a local store for twice as much. It’s a really good size, doesnt take up too much space on the counter, but fits a lot of bread. Like, a giant loaf of italian bread and some buns and other breads all at once. Very satisfied. Super bright red, lettering is crisp. We’re really happy with it!
