ReeFloReeFlo 11143 Utility Hammerhead/Barracuda Hybrid Pump

Pumps water from my sump in the basement to my 280G display tank a room above. About 9' of rise and my return is split into two sides and thru about 8x elbows, etc. Pump runs quiet as i had heard and allthou i havent bothered switching the impeller to price out a diff. in cost vs water movement... I expect it would be a great power savings as well.All in all, will be ordering another one when i can find it at the good price i got this one for. TYpically this was going for alot more at other pet shops and online stores.**Edit 6-12-14Noticed a pretty substantial increase in the waters temp. When I filled the tank, water was reading about 65 or so out of the tap... Today the tank sits at 77 with no heater running... So I suspect that just this pump alone is raising the temp 5-10 degreese. Because typically water in aquariums sits about 10 degreese or so below room temp... My home is kept abotu 75 with AC running... Tank is still above room temp...

This is a junk Chinese product masquerading as an American made product. It pulls more power than it should, runs hot and loud, and leaks when the seals fail prematurely. Do yourself a favor and get a good pump for a little more money.
