Atlantic Water Gardens BB0500 Bio Media for Filter, 0.5cu.', Tan

I went through the new pond green water phase so I went to my local water way and picked up some water hyacinth and water lettuce. At the same time I purchased aquaneats bio balls and placed them in my water fall box. Nothing much changed water became a little more clear but still could not see the bottom. I purchased these and initially placed them also in the water fall box but they are so light weight they could not hold down the filter pad so I let them flow into a small shallow race way into my pond, few days later water cleared completely, and now my hyacinths are gone. Of course this could be explained by the natural maturation process but I'm going to order more soon. Pond is 8x8 by 4 feet deep with a raised shelf under the water fall that is about 1 foot wide 1 foot deep and about 6 feet long kinda canyon like, that's where the rocks are... Pond is about 4 months old and the two gold fish have produced at least 30 babies from multiple spawnings ( different sized groups) Can't wait until the two koi get big enough to spawn. I purchased the bio rocks for use in a new pond/waterfall/stream I am building in the back yard. They will work great in the system I have installed and will ultimately help allow me to put fish in the pond. So far all is going well.
