I used them for putting up pretty decorative fans on my living room walls. I also used them for tacking up a pretty shower curtain to cover our OSB garage walls. I was able to pull the material very tight in any direction, and these tacks held them in place without popping out. They worked out great and it looks like a beautiful wall mural. These tack are strong and durable. Nice product!

These tacks are great! You get plenty for the money and they work really well for what I needed them for. I used them to secure my new ottoman cover into place so that it wouldn’t slip around. They worked great for that!

They bend easily so thin Needlenose pliers are a must, hemostats would work too, worked with double layer of suede behind the tooled leather, there are several YouTube University videos that helped. I have about 100 leftover so great value.

I started on the bottom on the side that would be less likely to be noticeable while I experimented with how best to install these tacks. I tried using a plastic tool I purchase here on amazon, I think it was by Dritz? What a waste of money that was! Totally useless which I'd have know had I read more reviews. So I had no choice but to eyeball these. But the ONE thing I figured out early on that made this go SO MUCH EASIER was to use an awl to start the hole. After that hammering them in was a breeze. My project consisted of upholstery weight fabric, quilt batting and then plywood. I stuck a felt furniture leg pad onto my hammer because these tacks will dent easily. I was not interested in purchasing an expensive hammer specifically for this one single project. This kind of project does take patience and a few hours to complete, but I think it was worth it! In my case I reused a previous headboard and all the materials so the only expense was new batting, fabric and these tacks. Of note, I just saw these at Hobby Lobby and they were waaaaaay more expensive there!

The plating on these will wear off and begin to rust off anywhere your skin touches them. They are hard to drive in to any hardwood furniture like oak or maple. They may be fine for pine but the length of the tack make them easy to bend over resulting in a lot of re-pulling and re-tacking to get even lines. I am not sure if there are professional upholstery tacks out there ? so if these are all you can find they will work just do not put them anywhere that come in contact with bare skin .

I reupholstered my mom's antique rocking chair that has been in the family for generations. These tacks were a perfect touch to the chair. They were affordable and elegant enough to keep the vintage charm of the chair! They were also easy to use with a small tack hammer.

Never used this before. Have large wingback chair. Put a new cover on it as and added these upholstery tax as accessory but also to keep the cover in place. Chair looks really nice now. I had to added double sided tape to discourage my cat from using as a scratching pole. I’m s only on the back and the tape is clear. So far so good. I think I have enough left to also use in an occasional chair I had to recover for the same reason.
