Beautiful and Well-Designed!
I purchased this book for my ten-year-old son and he raves about its beautiful colored pictures and well-written information. My son enjoys studying plants and fruits. He has Celiac Disease, which means his body attacks the wheat or gluten from foods and when in his body, it ends up taking all the nutrition away. (Layman's terms) This has made him very small in stature for his age, but slowly he will regain his height and weight. (Doctors discovered this almost two years ago) This book has shown him that he can help to heal his immune system and body by eating certain wonder foods. He especially loves that this book defines all the vitamins in each food and loves to tell me what I should and shouldn't eat to obtain certain boosts.I love this book, because it was well worth the money, especially when the retail stores were selling it at almost $30 and I bought on here for so much less. I also would recommend this awesome book to those with food allergies, autism-spectrum-disorders, or even the elderly because it is both well-written and something that could sit on the coffee table and look pretty--even though, he is usually studying it....

Just the facts - and many of 'em
This is an extremely useful book, well organized and very informative. Anyone wishing to stay healthy and, at least initially, try a nutritional rather than a pharmaceutical approach to bodily ills would be well served to read every page, for knowledge and guidance. I have already given a copy to a friend.

I really love this book. Its easy to read and so informative. I keep it easily accessible and use it to plan my meals. If your healthy conscious it's a must have. I highly recommend it.

What's to Wonder
Seems that all foods qualify. 25 common fruits: 26 common Vegetables: 8 meat and dairy: (Read Forks Over Knives) and so on wonder fish, nuts, seeds, oils, grains, herbs. Probably had to stretch it to find 100. Nice photo of each, something about the vitamin content BEEF has vitamin B and Iron and sulfur and zinc etc. a few recipes like pepper steak. Not recommended. Not keeping with the new diet helpful books such as The China Study.

Very informative & clearly laid out natural wonder foods.
I found this "Natural Wonderfoods" book extremely helpful. Clearly written with accompanying photos - it provides depth of knowledge on a wide range of wonder foods & drinks. Having recently been diagnosed with diabetes & heart problems - this book has proved invaluable in helping me to personalise a new diet regime - gaining all my vitamins / nutrients etc. & weight loss. Already tried the recommended few drops of fermented apple cider vinegar in a glass of water with a meal - to aid weight loss - it appears to be helping! David C.
