Majority Arbury II DAB/DAB+ Digital + FM Portable Radio, Rechargeable 6 hr Battery, Dual Alarm Clock

Very happy with this DAB+ radio. This is in my mancave, there is no power there and I didn't want to keep spending on batteries. This runs for about 8 hours, you can charge it from the mains but I have a portable battery pack which most people have these days, and the battery pack outputs at 5W. A big plus is that this radio takes a charge from my battery pack, whilst turned on and in use, and will fully charge itself so I can then disconnect my portable usb battery charger, which will have stacks of power left, and the radio is topped up !This is small and portable and sometimes I take it from the mancave and pop it in the car, no problems driving around with a cheap car DAB+ radio ! The (mono) speaker is decent but in the car I hook it up to Aux to get stereo and the benefit of the car speakers, when in the mancave the speaker is plenty loud enough although my preference is to rig it up to a pair of speakers (and a subwoofer !) to really test it, and it reproduces very decent sound.For £20 this is a fabulous price and I was pleased to pick up some stations (Talk Radio, Gold & Union Jack) which I had wanted, but been unable to receive on 2 other, non + DAB radios. This does everything I wanted, micro USB recharging, more stations and portability, a great little radio.

This is a really good little radio and excellent value for the price. Sound is quite acceptable for having on in the background whilst you are doing stuff. It immediately autotuned when first switched on and I love the fact it has a rechargeable battery. My last digital radio got through tons of batteries so this will save a lot of money. The instructions are not brilliant - but the reviewer who gave instructions on how to store pre-set stations helped a lot, and you only need to do that once. Apparently there are full instructions online - would be great if the little manual gave the link to this. I've seen complaints about the power button on the back being too small - it is small but it's really not difficult to switch it on and off. Finally comes with 3 year guarantee. I would highly recommend this product.

The radio works well and looks good for the price so generally I'm happy with it but the instructions are very poor. For example:When first switching on it is in FM mode but they don't say how to switch to DAB. The Power/Mode button which you might think does this, did not at first. I eventually managed to work it out for myself and the answer is that you have to scan for DAB stations first from the menu, then the P/M button does switch between modes. So that's a one-off situation.The charging light at the back is red when charging but later turns blue, presumably to indicate fully charged but the instructions do not tell you this.They do not say how to store presets. It does not seem to be intuitive as with most other radios where you simply tune in the station then hold down the preset button for the relevant number to lock it in. I am still struggling with this and have posted a question about it. I hope it's not just a fault on mine.Poor instructions apart, I can recommend this radio.Later edit:I've since discovered that the full instructions are available online, which explains all my queries. Would have been simpler if they were included with the radio but not a problem now that I know.

I am overjoyed with this.Signal is brilliant for a desk in the far corner of an office, as shown in the image I do not need the aerial.Brought for work on my desk, usually set to volume 4, which is more than loud enough and goes very loud for use out doors.Does not quite last a full day at work for me but I simply plug in and continue.Buttons are simple to change prefered station and does an automatic search when first switched on.Delivered with some chargeHas a dimmer button to change the brightness of the screen which is good for use in a bedroom. Would highly reccomend

Though I used to make radios I could not get this one to work properly!NOW LISTEN TO ME! HOWEVER HARD I TRIED I COULD NOT CONTACT THE MAKERS/SELLERS IN CAMBRIDGE.I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR FORTY FIVE YEARS AND UNLIKE THE MAJORITY OF START UPS I'M STILL TRADING. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! IF I WANT TO TALK TO A SUPPLIER I PHONE OR EMAIL THEM. IF THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE I NEVER USE THEM AGAIN EVER .IF YOU ARE SELLING ITEMS OR SERVICES WHICH ARE IN ANY WAY POTENTIALLY TROUBLESOME YOU SHOULD BE CONTACTABLE, FULL STOP.YES YOU MAY NEED A CALL CENTRE OF SORTS BUT MOST PEOPLE WON'T MIND PAYING A FEW QUID IF THEY REALLY NEED TO SPEAK TO THE SUPPLIER.A PRODUCT THAT APPARENTLY DOESN'T WORK IS RUBBISH.

Bought to use in the garage on talk stations and the sound is fine for thatEasy to set up as long as you don’t need instructions and the only negative so far is the tiny on/off switch on the rear of the radio which is the wrong type of switch in the wrong place

I like the look of it, ideal for the bedroom It looks right in any room l use it. My complaint is that as yet l have not found DAB band so for the last month I’m using FM only which is a good reception but normally DAB is better. There iare no instructions on how to get DAB.

Wonderful value for the price. Struggled to set up as the instruction booklet and the one online do not fit this model as to set up for DAB the option to scan is given as press scan button, which doesn't exist but is replaced by a Dimmer button. Online you eventually come to a section which say if full scan doesn't start automatically go to Menu button (Called Info Menu) where you then scroll through options till you get to scan. Did work well then so overall very pleased but could do with instructions matching the function of this good little radio. Has amazing sound and volume for its size and price.

Mise en route un peu laborieuse mais réussie , notice courte et peu détaillée . Néanmoins avec de la patience j'y suis arrivé . Sonorité claire et recherche des stations simples . Bonne stabilité malgré l'antenne assez longue (65 cm !)Bon rapport qualité-prix , avec livraison rapide et soignée comme il se doit .

Bella radio, utilizzabile come radiosveglia da comodino e come sistema portatile al tempo stesso, la ricezione è buona e stabile, ha un suono chiaro e pulito, non particolarmente potente ma adeguato all'uso, presa cuffia stereo, un display chiaro, mi è piaciuta.

Es una radio reloj despertador y por la noche, en stand by, se descarga y no te funcionará la alarma, aunque la hayas cargado el día anterior y con la intensidad lumínica al mínimo. La radio que quería sustituir, con 4 pilas LR6, aguanta semanas. Batería malísima.El sonido es digno y la radio es muy ligera, la recepción de emisoras (Barcelona ciudad) es bastante buena sin llegar a desplegar la antena. La señal DAB+ llega bien pero baja de sonido.Echo de menos en el diseño alguna especie de patilla que la haga más estable.El idioma español es portugués y los botones no funcionan con frecuencia.Va de vuelta, esa batería no es de recibo.
