Fits in my carry-on suitcase
I previously had a Leki with a cork handle. Even though this handle is not cork, it is very comfortable. It appears to be a coated plastic, is not slippery, and usually holds on to a table when propped against it.I am using it as a cane/walking stick. When the cane is completely collapsed, it is 18-inches long and fits in my carry-on suitcase without a struggle. When opened, It is perfect for someone under 5-feet tall. Mid-size adults will also like this cane. I recommend this product for assistance in balancing on uneven terrain.

My husband really liked it - light but sturdy
It is light but steady and really nice & well crafted. Bought it for my husband who has some difficulty in walking. He did not want to use any cane (regular canes) but surprisingly he really liked this one & is not using it.

Trekking Staff UNUSABLE BY 6ft TALL AMERICAN MALE
I am totally disappointed with this product. I have had a previous Leki Wanderfreund walking stick and it was perfect. This new one is totally unusable by any 6 ft tall Male because it does not extend long enough. It would probably be perfect for some 5' 4" or thereabouts. but for me, it is unusable. I don't recall the product description relating that it was only for short stature people.

Comfortable, light weight cane
Light weight and sturdy. I bought this to use as a cane after a knee replacement. I wish it had the external locks like my other leki hiking poles but durability seems good so far.

Different than pic and what is described
The picture and bullet points indicate the quick release clamping locks. What came was the twisting locks. Don't have time to return it and buy something else. But I would have bought a much cheaper stick if I wanted the twist lock types.

Leki is great but the one that arrived was not what was in the photo.
Leki is great product. Unfortunately, the Walking Pole and NOT the Trekking Pole was the one that arrived. It was purchased for my 92 year-old father who flew on the plane the next morning, so I couldn't return it. It's easier for him to adjust poles with the easy release but the ones that came had the twist release. It's not the greatest practice to send a different product from the one advertised, hence the 3 stars.

Leki all over
Typical great Leki quality in a comfortable stick that collapses to an easily packable length. No frills like camera mounts, silver horse head grip or concealed sword, but just a nice, versatile walking stick.

Why so short?
Not tall enough. Very well made, but causing my husband to hunch over to use it. He really liked it, but destroying his posture. Why don’t you make the taller?
